Greenhills Elan Hotel Modern - Newly Renovated

I arrived at the hotel early morning. I understand that the check in time is 2pm. I was advised that I will be charge PHP500. per hour if they will put me in my room early. I opted out, and decided to wait at the lobby until 2 pm. While waiting at the lobby, I asked the desk if I can use the washroom, ( I assumed that there's one at the main lobby, like most hotels that I have been to.) The lady at the desk directed me to go to the basement floor of the hotel. The washroom did not provide any towel or toilet paper, and the smell was disgusting. I went back to the front desk and advised of the situation, she handed me 3 pieces of tissue paper and no apology
When I finally got in to my room, I decided to have a shower after 15 hours of flight to get here. I noticed that the water in the shower were not draining at all. I cut my shower short because the whole bathroom was flooded at this time. When the maintenance man came, he found out that the drain is full of dirt and hair, he removed the dirt and hair with his bare hands and rinses his hand in the sink and left the dirty sink for me to clean if I want to use it.
On the third day of my stay, I finally called the desk and ask if someone will come to clean the room. I was told that I have to call them if I ever want to have the room clean. I thought the room will be automatically clean daily. I asked for face and hand towel, and I was told that the hotel do not supply face or hand towel.
Anyway, the state of the bathroom is not up to standard, the sink, shower, and toilet are not properly clean and sanitized. As a guest, I expect a basic hygiene and sanitation.
I also notice that the cleaning person, just quickly mop the floor, but not under the bed, desk, and table. The shelf under the TV were dusty, and I clean it myself. On top of this, I called at least twice for the TV to work properly.
Cleanliness and some amenities are very important to me when I travel.

Not a Great Start with this hotel,

Great hotel experience! Room was clean and staffs are nice! Plus points for the great view and accessibility. It’s just a 4-min walk away from Greenhills Tiangge.

We had an amazing stay here at Greenhills Elan Hotel Modern. The room is clean and big. Location is superb since it's just walking distance to Greenhills mall. Value for money. Great service too!

The overall experience for my other teammates was very smooth and stress-free. This was especially appreciated because my teammates were completely depleted from prepping for an upcoming bodybuilding show. Our room was spotless and everything was perfectly clean with not a speck of dust in sight, and the room price was very reasonable.

However for me, there were two things I didn't like.

First, they initially assigned us the wrong room
, one that someone else was already checked into and fortunately, the occupant was very polite. They also gave my friend the wrong key card. While I understand that everyone makes mistakes, my friends were depleted and low on energy, so they got frustrated quickly.
Second, the 2k₱ security deposit felt a bit too expensive, especially when tracking a strict budget. Although the online receipt did state there would be a 2k₱ deposit, I missed reading it, so that was partly my fault.
Still, I expected a smaller deposit based on our last stay elsewhere, which was only 500₱.
Overall, everything was clean, the elevators were fast, the ambiance was relaxing, and the amenities were great-especially for a price of 1,500₱.

Great stay in this lovely hotel. The staff were all friendly. The elevator can be a bit temperamental and the doors close too early.

i was not there when it was time for checkout because I was at work, so my partner was the one to checkout. it wasn't an issue before, we stayed there multiple times already. but they asked my partner for authorization letter and a copy of my ID which I sent to him via messenger but they were still asking for an email. I was not available to do it immediately because I was in a meeting. i don't understand why it was an issue, he had the receipt but he was not allowed to claim the security deposit which was a real inconvenience.

AC was good. shower was exceptional.

Bed was very comfortable, room was super spacious.

I had a wonderful stay at Greenhills Elan Hotel Modern. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made my stay very relaxing. The staff were all very accommodating, friendly, and quick to assist whenever I needed anything. I also enjoyed the hotel’s amenities, especially the pool and overall facilities, which added to the great experience. The location was convenient and the atmosphere was pleasant throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again in the future

5 but I highly recommend you post any number or communication channels that we can contact the hotel after office hours. Because I booked the room 8pm and I have some questions but the number that I hot online sent me to voice mail.

It was good. Everything was clean and the staff were very accommodating :)

great location though the hotel needs some improvements

I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. One of the best things about it is its location, it’s conveniently close to a lot of fast food restaurants, which made it easy to grab a quick meal anytime. The room was neat and clean, making it very comfortable to relax after a long day. I also appreciated how friendly and accommodating the staff; Overall, it’s a great place to stay, especially if you value convenience, cleanliness, and good service.
