Lovely hotel, made even better by the attentive staff. Especially in the evening of our nights stay when the bar man was exceptional. Was surprised to see him at breakfast serving us again so attentively.
We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the Wellington. So nice to have a freshly prepared breakfast to order rather than a buffet style one.
Our room was great too with a very comfortable bed and good nights sleep.
Nothing to dislike
A beautiful room, particularly liked the spacious bed and bathroom.
Two easy chairs were provided, most hotels only provide one. Fresh milk in the fridge for hot drinks.
Food was excellent and all staff attentive and friendly. Location excellent for town and harbour.
Bar area could have been warmer.
We stayed at The Wellington before, about 10 years ago, and knew the location was great and that it's a lovely hotel. It has I believe changed ownership since then and been refurbished, and is even better than before.
Absolutely nothing to fault.
Boscastle is a beautiful, picturesque Cornish village, close to the see.
The level of service from the staff was really poor. Especially from the room staff , who made up the bed, which sloped in the middle, with a wet towel in it. Despite retiredly trying to contact the hotel, our room was not the one we booked. By the time we arrived, this had never been resolved...! We booked and paid for their top suit but were not given it...! This company is beyond awful, with staff who provided an atrocious service...!
Room was beautiful & the bath was a great size.
The breakfast service was v poor. Sat for a while before our order was taken,, even though we were acknowledged on the way in. The self service table for drinks etc.. was empty.
Booked in for 2 nights but we all had to leave after one due to a fault with the gas & water.
Went to a sister hotel in Port Isaac but it wasn’t what we paid for & we had to sleep in single beds. Very very disappointing.
Beautiful location, gorgeous interior and lovely room. Staff so friendly and tasty food. Plenty of breakfast choice. Nothing was too much trouble at all.
I fail to see how anyone could have a negative view on the wellington.
Stunning
Nothing everything was fantastic

Food was delicious, dinner and breakfast
NA
Good location, very friendly staff, good breakfast, comfortable bed.
I can’t think of anything I didn’t like. There was obviously no lift, but the staff went out of their way to help with bags etc.
Location, rooms, showers, good bed, very crisp
nothing, really nice place to stay
Breakfast was delicious, lovely selection to choose from the menu or in the dining room.
