Staff were great, location was good and the property was clean.
There were a number of maintenance issues that were not attended to. For example ice and vending machines on different floors were out of order. The hot tub needed water added to it. The breakfast was mediocre.
Close to interstate and speeds event we had tickets to.
Hot tub was cold and tv didn’t work, therefore had an employee in our room for 30 minutes to fix. Bathroom fan didn’t work
Found the room clean and smelling fresh with heat on and warm temperature bed was comfortable. Lobby was attractive and clean except for a dying plant next to the complimentary water dispenser. It was a Saturday morning for breakfast time looks like they had been hit hard. Still had a decent amount of food. Very good eggs potatoes and sausage. Seems like the pancake machine was not working or ran out of batter. Was not planning on staying the night in Grand forks but due to the weather they have closed roads North to Canada. So this was the last room. It was pricey due to the fact it was their last room they said. It is unfortunate they take advantage of people that get stranded.
Bed was comfy.
At 10pm check in -Front lobby and dining room were dirty from wheel tracks and boots. Same as landing at elevator. Wasn’t cleaned up by 7am breakfast. Pancake machine cooked sediment onto pancakes. Sausage gravy burnt.

The location is great with easy access and a large parking lot. The staff members are wonderful, very friendly and polite.
The hot tub area was not very clean. I used it the afternoon when I checked in and noticed some things around it and then when I went the next morning those same pieces of garbage were still there. That was disappointing. The rest of the facility was very clean.

In the room next to mine, some children were play-fighting (I think) until almost midnight. My husband went to the reception, but it was empty, and he didn't ring the bell.

We stopped there to rest before continuing our road trip. It had snowed heavily, and a truck was there until 3 a.m., clearing snow. The receptionist said she was very sorry when I complained, but the truck was necessary. I understand, so why didn't they give us a room on a higher floor, since they knew this?

The pool rules clearly state that you need to shower before entering the pool or moving between the pool and the sauna; there are no showers on site. Should I go to my room when I want to change pools?
