The hotel is only accessible by ferry. Ferries depart from Drøbak Harbor or the Aker Brygge area in Oslo city center. The location is amazing
The staff did nothing to make you feel welcome. The check in isn't until 4 whilst check out is at 10. Ferries to the island from Oslo are at 11 arrive and 13 leave so your left with no where to be if the weather is bad

The location on the island in the middle of the fjord, with guided tours to learn more about the role of the fort during WW 2 is excellent! The view from the room was good, and you can go swimming in the fjord or visit the cafe etc. Good breakfast, and was able to enjoy it outside, overlooking the water.
The dinner area was really cool, loved being inside of a historic building!
The room felt quite bland and a little bit worn down and somewhat old fashioned. The building itself was build for recruits, and it still felt a little that way.
The staff was very nice and helpful, but was not prepared for us when we arrived for the dinner we had pre-booked, so the two of us were seated at the end of a very long table all by ourselves. No major crisis, but felt a bit weird. However, the staff quickly helped us with food and drinks and were very attentive!
Tolle Lage, schöner Ausblick, saubere Bettwäsche und Handtücher. Smart-TV.
Zimmer zwar grundsätzlich sauber, aber ein klein wenig staubig. Schimmel in den Silikonfugen der Dusche. Es stand noch Wasser in der Nespresso-Maschine, und zwar schon so lange, dass sich ein Biofilm aus Mikroalgen / Bakterien gebildet hatte. Sowas hab ich auch in günstigeren Unterkünften noch nicht erlebt. Zimmer recht hellhörig, zweimal durch andere Gäste aufgewacht, obwohl nur wenige Zimmer im Gebäude belegt waren.
Selve steder er utrolig interessant.
Pga egen mobilitet hadde det vært greit å vite at det er en utrolig bratt bakke opp til hotell fasilitetene. Hadde vært fint med mulighet for enkel transport.
Her var det kvalitet i alle ledd. Verdens beste frokost av gode råvarer. Vakker beligenhet, vakker restaurant, ikke en flekk på bord og stoler, en nydelig atmosfære. Det er første gang jeg gir full score til et overnattingsted
0pplevelsen å få komme på Oskarsborg festning. Hørt mye om festningen ifbm senkingen av det tyske krigsskipet Blucher. Var med på omvisning, som var veldig innformativ. OK.
Kunne ønske en god stol å sitte i. Et stort speil.
