Excellent views, great restaurant, daily whale sightings
Pros:

Highly recommend this place. Comfortable, great restaurant, and the view is the best in Ilulissat. I saw whales every day I was there, and they were incredibly close to the hotel! Don't waste money on a whale watch, just stay here. Even a 50 degree day is warm enough to eat dinner outside, as the sun is right overhead at that hour. I am not a seafood fan but the small menu had just enough for me; the reindeer and musk ox dishes were delicious.

Cons:

If you have mobility issues this may be a challenge, as you need to walk 15 min or take a taxi into town. And it's a two floor hotel with no elevators. Also I did find it a bit odd that all of the staff seemed to be Danish, no Greenlanders; I really hope they do not discriminate in their hiring.

Good stay. Beautiful weather excellent patio/deck at the hotel.
Pros:

The breakfast was adequate. We were located in the annex which was difficult to get to as there was construction. All bags needed to be dragged along the road to get to the apartment.

Cons:

staying in the annex was not as convenient as the actual hotel. I don't believe the annex cost was less than the actual hotel either.

Excellent place to stay
Pros:

Our balcony room provided great views over the bay, and we were able to sit and watch the ice bergs, boats and occasional whales. The restaurant was spacious and had good food. Staff were helpful in answering our questions as first time visitors. It wasn't too far to walk to excursions and the area was quiet.

Une vue incroyable depuis les chambres deluxe
Pros:

Une vue extraordinaire plongeante sur la mer depuis les chambres avec balcon ( à prendre sans hésiter ) . Les baleines sautent devant la fenêtre, expérience inoubliable. Sinon lits confortables, et salle de bain moderne et parfaite.

Cons:

Hôtel un peu excentré par rapport au port , mieux vaut prendre un taxi pour aller prendre le bateau.
Attention pas d’ascenseur, il faut grimper les escaliers avec les valises. Les boissons chaudes sont payantes en sup au petit déjeuner, c’est très mesquin. Moins de vue sur les chambres sans balcon ce qui fait perdre la magie de l’hôtel.

TENIAMOS APARTAMENTOS QUE NO ESTAN EN EL MISMO HOTEL Y DEBIDO A UNAS OBRAS NO ACHACABLES AL HOTEL, TENIAMOS QUE DAR UN RODEO Y ADEMAS A LAS 7 DE LA MAÑANA YA ESTABAN TRABAJANDO. AL LLEGAR Y AL IRNOS TUVIMOS QUE CAMINAR CON LAS MALETAS HASTA LOS APARTAMENTOS Y DEBERIAN HABERNOS FACILITADO ESE TRAYECTO QUE AUNQUE CORTO, UNOS 5 MINUTOS, MOLESTABA UN POCO.

Pros:

The view. Even though I had a single room at the end of the building I still have a view of the bay and icebergs.
Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was new and very nice

Cons:

There was coffee and tea in the room along with a kettle in the cupboard. But no cups anywhere . Wasn't a problem but a detail that could be easily corrected .
Shower didnt have a soap dispenser or anywhere to put the soap that was on the sink.

Absolument parfait !
Pros:

Le cadre est splendide : vue sur les icebergs de la fenêtre de la chambre , de la terrasse et du restaurant.
Possibilité d'aller se promener à pieds auprès de l'hôtel pour voir des immenses icebergs.
Le personnel est très agréable.
Le restaurant est excellent : cuisine fine , avec des produits locaux.
Je recommande cet hôtel.

Nice views and restaurant, the room we stayed in needs to be updated.
Pros:

Good location with beautiful views and very good food in the restaurant. Great service and help with getting to the airport via shuttle bus.

Cons:

There was no ventilation in the room and very humid.
