This was our first time in Peñasco and we were thoroughly impressed with the Playa Bonita Resort. All of the staff was friendly and helpful! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had great views of the pool and ocean!

The weather was good. The AC was good. The ceiling fan was great and quiet. They have big TV with free HBO. The staff is very friendly. The free coffee in the lobby was good but not the coffee in the room. The resort is not fancy but does the job. The omelet in the Breakfast buffet was good. The fruits are good especially the papaya. The rest of the buffet is average or below average.

What an amazing place. The staff were absolutely top notch. The room and facilities all modern and updated. Did have a microwave and small fridge, ac worked great. Very family friendly, also we felt very protected throughout our stay really no outside elements allowed on property. Did not want to drive anywhere so the front desk was very accommodating in setting us up transportation. The restaurant was good, but really the only meals from it that were available were breakfast (buffet) and dinner fancy ish “this was great for a romantic on the patio over the ocean view”. Would like too have a place to get a smaller meal, without leaving the property there are vending machines and a small souvenir shop but that’s not much. I would recommend bring your food and drinks, didn’t see a bbq grill though. Beach was very private, however there were some vendors walking up and down, gets windy so bring tie downs for your umbrella or shovel to dig it into the sand.

Best stay in Puerto Penasco that I have experienced. Housekeepers welcomed us as if we were home. All personnel was forthcoming with whatever needs we had. Small Hotel with a Big Heart.
