Maitai Lapita Village Huahine

Got there and no one was at the front desk. Asked someone from the restaurant who was smoking at the front entrance on their phone, and she said that maybe they were on break and we would have to wait. No let me check on that for you or offer to help. Just went back to talking on her phone. Had to wait for about 30 minutes to check in. I understand people taking breaks, but normally someone else would relieve that person to avoid someone waiting to check in. Check in starts at 2pm. Why would someone go on break at 4pm. Seems like bad timing. Restaurant was ok. Very quiet place. Although it said that I was purchasing the last room there seemed to be only 8 couples staying on the resort. For $500 a night I expected better.

This is an amazing property. The bungalows are perfect and the food is to die for. The pool and beach are both wonderful!

Boat houses are spacious. Private pool was very nice option. Dedication to site history. Will go back guaranteed

Bungalows are very large. Perfect for families. Everyone is nice. Short walk to the main town.

Huahine is a hidden gem of what Bora Bora looked like before all the resorts moved in. Loved staying at the newly remodeled pool suites, the infinity pool and the white sand beach overlooking the crystal clear lagoon and sunset cove

We checked in late and it was hard to find the rooms in the dark. The property is beautiful, dipping pools are a big plus. Big rooms and nice restaurant. View and pool beautiful!

What a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were amazing, the private pool was great, the grounds were amazing and the people were so friendly and wonderful. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again.

Literally our favorite hotel in the world. Stayed there 3 years in a row. Purely magical.

Un vrai village. Extrêmement bien entretenu et complètement charmant. Bon restaurant.

Les bungalows sont spacieux, avec une petite piscine privée devant la terrasse protégée de la pluie et du soleil, le tout dans un parc boisé et bien entretenu.
Le personnel est absolument adorable.
Le petit déjeuner est copieux et la nourriture très bonne. Un petit bémol : choix insuffisant en ce qui concerne les menus vegetariens.
Et c était très agreable de prendre un cocktail (excellente pinacolada !) le soir devant le coucher de soleil sur la plage !

Limited hotel options on Huahine, this place has a lovely staff, but unfortunately the room was quiet run down, felt unclean and was possibly the worst bed and pillow I’ve slept on. With some updates and cleaning I think this place can be great.

The property and staff were great. But the food at the hotel was just average. Way better food in town, outside the hotel.
