Nice and convenient..
Excellent service
I had a wonderful stay at Taal Vista Hotel, and what stood out most was how seamless the entire experience felt from arrival to checkout.
Check-in was smooth and welcoming, with the staff handling everything efficiently while still making us feel well looked after. The Lake Wing room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of storage, power outlets, strong Wi-Fi, and a balcony overlooking Taal Volcano Island. Waking up to the sunrise from the balcony was easily one of my favorite moments of the stay.
The hotel complex itself is also a highlight. There are plenty of open spaces, gardens, walking areas, and quiet corners where you can simply sit and enjoy the cool Tagaytay air and of course, Taal Volcano Island.
Dining was another memorable part of the stay. I enjoyed a great steak at TAZA, while the weekend dining experience at Veranda was made even better by the cultural performances during lunch buffet.
For relaxation, Rain Spa was a standout. The spacious treatment area, aromatherapy, and relaxing massage made it easy to switch off after a full day. I highly recommend requesting Ms. Belle if she's available.
What I appreciated most, though, was the thoughtful care from the staff throughout the stay. From check-in, dining, and spa service to the little details in the room and assistance before checkout, there was a consistent sense that the team genuinely cared about the guest experience.
Taal Vista Hotel gave me the kind of staycation where you don't feel rushed to leave the property. Great views, spacious surroundings, good food, a relaxing spa, comfortable rooms, and attentive service all came together for a memorable Tagaytay escape.
I would happily stay here again. Kudos, Taal Vista team!!!
The location
The room
Food was good and the view in front.
We were given a room at the back that was behind the actual hotel. Our building was a shabby looking building that looked more like a run down hostel than a hotel. Our sink had black molds and our shower area also had black molds. Our room was old. The bed and air conditioning was comfortable but that’s it. Everything was old.
location and view
ridge room, lack of facility
We ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious. Ann, Ethel and Roll provided great sevice. We also enjoyed the 3-man band who played during lunch. Enjoyable visit!
Access cards were deactivated even a day prior checkout. Even after reconfiguring the access card, it still didn't work!!!! This is frustrating!!!
Si Frederick a dining staff is very accomodating and friendly. Food is excellent and ambiance is very relaxing.
Wonderful experience. Upgraded our room with a balcony overlooking the famous Taal volcano. Spacious room, huge bathroom, clean . Excellent customer service . Special thanks to Ann and our porter Nikko. Who are gracious , friendly and accommodating. The staff will go out of their way to accommodate your request . Complimentary breakfasts . Like the champorado , good ,strong coffee. They also have egg station . My suggestion if they can also serve the famous Taho. Which I’m
Looking forward to taste. Also, I like their fresh bibingka which unfortunately serve only on weekends. Overall, we have a wonderful stay at Taal Vista Hotel, highly recommended if you’re visiting Tagaytay
It was a great place to stay. The staff are very helpful and accomodating, esp Ms. Aira at the reception area.
I would like to commend Sir Ryan and Sir Fred for their excellent assistance during our lunch at veranda. They were attentive, accommodating and professional. Thanks, Ryan and Fred!
Pay for premium, settle for budget hotel.
Need maintenance all over. Bed sheets smells heavy bleach just like hourly budget hotel. Shower drain doesn’t work well. Bathroom sink has black mold. Aircon needs cleaning you can see the dark mold on it. Breakfast is a joke.
Having history and legacy doesn’t entitle you or excuse you for having outdated and poorly maintained rooms.
I would like to also mention the woman at the front desk was very not friendly while checking out.
Do better, meanwhile everyone else should go where they will get their moneys worth.
We had a bit of a disappointing stay at Taal Vista Hotel. When we booked the Premier Lake View room, we were told it would come with a bathtub for the kids, but that wasn't the case. During check-in, they also mentioned that access to SkyRanch was free, but when we actually asked for the passes, we were told we had to pay ₱100 each.
On the bright side, breakfast at Veranda was great. Big thanks to Frederick Dimailig, who was incredibly accommodating and took great care of us during our meal!
We had a wonderful dining experience at Taal Vista. The food was great, and all the servers were friendly and attentive. Kuya in the grilling area, Kuya in the pasta area, and Ate in the dessert section were nice too. But Ate Ethel was extra nice and made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
Great Atmosphere, Great Food and Service, the waiters are always welcoming and responsive.
The location is incredible - the view of the volcano is extraordinary. Beds are comfortable, rooms are spacious & nice.
There is a small theme park next door too.
There aren’t many local food options without a car. The hotel’s food is acceptable, but choices are limited. There is almost no veggie food & they don’t serve (any) wine - only spirits or sweet cocktails, which was a bit sad at dinner. Finally, the pool is far, far away. We had to walk around a wedding party to access it (the bride was very beautiful though!)
A very lovely and lively environment to start the day with!
