Stayed for 7 nights in October first impressions were that the hotel
Was very clean and the reception staff were really helpful and polite we had a standard room which was very clean with really comfy beds but no tea making facilities so if you like a brew in ya room take your own kettle although reception did provide us with one , the pool area was clean with plenty of sunbeds although the pool was freezing meal times were ok with fresh hot food served everyday the breakfast was really good , the entertainment team were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us all location is good with beach less than a 10 minute walk with plenty of shops and restaurants would 100% go back here

Hotel entertainment was poor

We sadly left this hotel today after spending a week there for October half-term. There were three of us; my husband, our fourteen year old daughter and myself. I believe we had good value for money. Food was plentiful and we never went thirsty either. Some of the food was extremely tasty and there was always something a bit different to try each day. Spending Halloween here was particularly wonderful and even though we didn’t have a young child with us, we all got caught up in the fun games and activities. The hotel staff including the amazing entertainment team spent the night before Halloween decorating the hotel and finalising the entertainment which didn’t disappoint. The silent disco night was amazing! Everybody was up enjoying themselves and lovely to see people in mobility scooters getting fully involved too! The entertainment team went the extra mile to provide a fun and entertaining experience for everyone of all ages. If you are looking for a fun break, with great staff, in a good location look no further. Be mindful that if it rains here there aren’t many places to sit during the day so you may need to go out and about and spend some money to stay dry. The local restaurants are about the same price as the UK. We preferred to dine in every day to make the most of the all inclusive offering. Please note the bedrooms are modern and clean, however, just in case it bothers you, the hallways needed a major hoover. The bathrooms have an issue with the shower water going all over the bathroom floor. There is nowhere to store anything in the bathrooms other than on the hooks for towels. Reception staff are fabulous at this hotel as are all the amazing staff in the restaurant, especially the Managers. All in all we had a wonderful week here and would recommend this hotel for its good food, friendly service and entertainment.

Spent a week at this hotel in October with 3 children (11, 14 and 16 yrs). From arrival the staff were friendly and welcoming and our room wasn't ready but we were directed to the restaurant for food.
The pools were great and not crowded. There were lots of sunbeds for everyone. Like everywhere you get people reserving the beds even though theyre not meant to but still lots left.
The food was great, lots of choice every night and the staff were knowledgeable for those with allergies. The food available at the snack bar throughout the day was brilliant as well, always fruit available. Lots of drink choices too.
Entertainment was good for the younger ones, not much for kids my age but they enjoyed watching rhe evening entertainment - silent disco, flamenco dancing, etc.
The rooms were standard but had everything you needed and the cleaning staff were lovely and made up your room if you left a card on the door.
Overall a great holiday and hotel and will be going back next year.

We travelled here for a half term trip with some family friends. We had a super holiday.

The rooms were very clean, beds comfy, the food was great and plentiful, and the staff were generally excellent - helpful, fun with our kids and clearly hard working.

Proximity to the beach was fab, we spent every afternoon there as the sea was warmer than the pool (as expected for this time of year). Kids did also love the splash park with slides though.
We spent our mornings playing padel / tennis at local clubs, which was great.

Any suggestions for improvement are fairly minor - the cava was semi-seco, a brut would have been much nicer! It was also have been nice to have had an all inclusive ‘nice bar’ option, rather than just the pool bar. We did sit in the Irish bar (with our all inclusive drinks, which didn’t seem to be a problem) but it would have been really nice to have had the chance to enjoy the all inclusive drinks in nice glasses etc, it seems a shame that all inclusive options aren’t given too at that bar.

Overall, we have stayed in better 4* hotels, but for the price we paid, we were very happy and we felt we got a good deal.

P.s the silent disco was excellent - so much fun!

We came to this hotel for a week arrived 17th October family of 4 we got to the hotel at 12.15 check in was smoothly and quick! Our room was ready when we arrived so was able to get straight in, we found this hotel amazing for the price we paid! Rooms cleaned daily and the cleaners did a fantastic job each day, we also found the food and themes nights in the restaurant good none of us are fussy eaters though so that helped, but there's always something for everybody!

The snack bar is what to expect from an all inclusive hotel; burgers, hot dogs fries salad sausages pizza all my daughter found it amazing!! And ate from the snack bar for lunch most days, soft drinks are self serve and so is the beer..

Entertainment we found the entertainment very good every night there was something, bingo, flying to the moon, magic show, silent disco! Our daughter loved the kids disco the animation team are absolutely brilliant with all the kids.. this hotel was amazing for the price we paid; we would 💯 be returning to this hotel maybe next October! Ignore the negative reviews your holiday is what you make it go and have a blast✈️✈️

Well my wife and i got back last week after spending a pleasant week in this hotel ,cant really fault it ,food is good overall ,friendly staff ,kept nice and clean ,only gripe would be its a wee bit away from the main part with bars and restaurants and is up a hill which as a wherlchair user is not ideal but not really hotels fault as i should have checked location but it didnt really detract from an enjoyable week ,i think in mid summer it would be very busy and getting a sunbed might be tricky but we tend to avoid these times and go earlier in year and again later on when its a bit quieter but anyhow overall a nice hotel to stay in thanks

The layout of the hotel was good with easy access to the pool area from the rooms.
The breakfast had lots of choice and plenty of space . The nice bar area for paid drinks and well managed .
Good entertainment staff and evening entertainment although we didn't access this.
Nice spacious pool and additional extra pool for children although mine only used once.

Nice stay! Fantastic service. Many food options on buffet! Reception staff very friendly; Yem supported us greatly. Child Friendly recommended!

Stayed here with my 13 year old and elderly mother.

Staff - amazing! Every staff member was friendly and happy. I think this says a lot about the company and the atmosphere.
Food - everything was hot and tasty. It became a bit repetitive towards the end of the week but every meal there was great choice. Drinks were good, although I suggest bringing your own tea bags.
Pools - good pool area, always plenty of sunbeds. Generally clean except for the lazy people who brought food and left it there. Especially when there are plenty of bins and areas around the pool to deposit plates and cups.
Rooms - very clean. Beds comfortable. Shower a major slip hazard. Ask for a shower mat!! Storage wasn’t great for a family of 3 especially the wardrobe. Take some extra hangers with you.
Location - excellent! An easy walk down to the beach. Lidl a 5 minute walk for any essentials.
Transfer - about 30 minutes from the airport.
Entertainment- the entertainment staff were great. Lots of activities during the day. Evening entertainment wasn’t the best but not terrible.
Would recommend. Great family hotel with exceptional staff.

Rooms are very clean and spacious, which was absolutely great for us, as we came with a 1 year old baby. The stuff was nice to everyone and always helpful.

We stayed at the Furgus Hotel from the 11th to the 17th of October for a family holiday, and from start to finish everything was spot on.

Check-in was quick, efficient, and genuinely friendly — the staff made us feel welcome straight away. Our room was spotless when we arrived, with fresh bedding and towels waiting for us.

The food offered plenty of variety to suit all tastes, especially for continental guests. It wasn’t fine dining, but everything was fresh, well presented, and perfectly decent for an all-inclusive. The drinks were excellent — from soft drinks to cocktails, everything tasted great and was served with a smile.

What really stood out was the staff. Every single person, from reception to the cleaners, was friendly and helpful. You could tell they genuinely enjoyed their jobs, and it made such a difference to the atmosphere around the hotel. One night we asked for extra blankets because it got a bit chilly — they sorted it straight away, no fuss at all.

Accessibility around the hotel was excellent. There were ramps leading to the pool bar and reception, and even a hoist to help lift disabled guests into and out of the pool — something you don’t often see but really appreciated.

Honestly, we couldn’t fault a thing. Everything was exactly as expected, and if there had been any issues, I’m confident the team would’ve sorted them out straight away. We loved it so much that we’ve already booked to come back next year!

We’d definitely recommend the Furgus Hotel to anyone looking for a friendly, clean, and accessible place to stay.

Dont worry about negative reviews. We stayed here for 1 week i had paid for our upgraded room to have the hot tub as it was a belated 40th for my husband. My daughter booked separately we had requested rooms together. When checking in reception were so quick and helpful, we got a nice surprise as my daughters room had also been upgraded courtesy of the hotel. The hotel was very clean, staff all friendly. We found food decent, the first time we have ever stayed at a Fergus hotel and we are looking at others now as we were very pleased with the food and the service we received. We did have issues with the hotel tub were maintenance were called a few times the same guy came and he was so nice, nothing was too much trouble. The snack bar is great we are picky eaters and found something to eat for breakfast and snack. We do eat out on an evening, entertainment was ok best night was bingo safly we didnt get to experience the silent disco which we were looking forward too. Hotel isn't to far to walk into palma nova strip, highly recommend the ice cream stall ice cream was very reasonable and delicious. Lots of bars and restaurants too we loved Banana Joe's! We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will definitely be returning to this hotel and other Fergus hotels.
