Categories

Cleanliness
8
Multiple reviews mention 'clean and tidy rooms' and 'chambre spacieuse propre'; overall cleanliness is consistently positive.
Service
8.8
Staff repeatedly described as helpful, attentive and friendly (assistance with language, pet welcome, staff going out of their way), indicating strong service.
Location
9.2
Very frequent praise for the lakeside setting and convenient location for ferry/Eurotunnel transfers; location is a standout strength.
Room Quality
7
Mixed comments: comfortable beds and good TVs reported, but several complaints about noise, outdated/tatty rooms and poor soundproofing reduce the score.
Amenities
6.6
Amenities are mixed: protected parking and pet attention are positives, but repeated lack of air conditioning and only fans/poor air circulation are notable negatives.
Value for Money
6.4
Several guests explicitly called the price too high for the quality (extra charges, perceived not worth rate), so value is below average.
Food and Beverage
8.6
Breakfast buffet and restaurant receive frequent praise ('varied and copious', 'excellent restaurant'), though a few noted breakfast could be better.
Overall Experience
7.8
Aggregate impression: very good location and service with strong food offering, tempered by room comfort issues (heat/noise) and value concerns.
