Close to everything. Great spot for walk to harbour, mall, supermarket, pubs and restaurants. Staff are amazing. Rooms cleaned everyday. Lovely pool. Everyone was beyond helpful and made for a great stay. We will be back.
Met good people at this place. October is the best time weatherwise and few of the people at the bar mentioned that they are choosing this hotel at this time every year for more that 5 years. We had so much fun at the bar. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is big enough to have the best time around the pool. Breakfast was same everyday but it was fresh and good for the price. Reception is open 24/7 which was a big plus for us!
Pleasant, clean, comfortable hotel, central for all areas of Paphos, decent food and bar, decent sized pool and garden area with friendly staff
Just stayed for a week, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Having read the reviews we were a little worried. We stayed all inclusive, it's not your usual buffet, everything is cooked freshly for you which was always lovely. The staff are amazing they can't do enough for you, Mohammed is a legend. Yes the sunbeds are a little worn, so what. The hotel is spotless, it's friendly like a little home from home and we will definitely return.
I just returned from a week at Paphiessa Hotel in Paphos, and I honestly didn’t expect to fall in love with the place the way I did. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like I was visiting old friends rather than checking into a hotel. I arrived early the morning after a delayed flight, tired and hungry. The lovely lady at reception (I wish I remembered her name!) adviced me to eat breakfast until the room was ready. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and I slept preety well. The pool area is a real highlight. Clean, sunny, and never overcrowded. One afternoon, a few of us guests ended up chatting with the owner, who shared funny stories about growing up in Cyprus and even gave us tips on where to find the best meze in town (he was right the taverna he recommended was incredible). It’s about a 10–15 minute walk to the harbour, but honestly, I enjoyed the stroll through the local streets. If you’re looking for a fancy resort, this isn’t it. But if you want warmth, charm, and an authentic Cypriot welcome, Paphiessa Hotel is a gem. I’m already planning to come back next year not because I “have to see more,” but because I want to return back to this welcoming atmosphere.
5 nights at a very cheap price that matched what we paid.
Very basic hotel that has seen better days however our room was clean on the surface and manageable for a few days.
The cotton bed sheets and bathroom towels were clean and in good condition.
There were limited plug sockets within our room which wasn't great for us - two woman trying to get ready for a night out, using hairdryer and straighteners etc
Very dated equipment, broken furniture, random decorations and strange lighting.
Most of sun beds were broken and/or heavenly worn - best to get your towel on a good bed early if your having a day by pool.
Cats use the small pool for bathing and whatever cats do in water.
Cats are wondering about in entrance of hotel, bar area and restaurant - cat hair not really my thing.
Larger pool seemed ok - some steps wobbly but secure.
Balcony very very small - not really able to use to sit out in the sun.
WiFi and air con worked as required.
We couldn't hear any outside noise unless patio door open.
We didn't see any entertainment except 2hrs of karaoke one evening.
Staff are hard working and very friendly, they take time to chat and check you are ok - breakfast guy and night shift receptionist very helpful and pleasant.
Owner very dismissive about concerned raised by others - he sits in bar most nights drinking whilst his Bentley is parked outside.
Hotel rooms very dated air con was free but did not really cool the room down sun loungers cracked had cockroaches in our room when we arrived no fridge but did get one after we asked mattresses so hard got a bad bk from sleeping on it and yes i know it's a 3star not a 5star so don't say u get what u pay for I've stayed in plenty of other 3stars hotels as for all inclusive i would not recommend it at all breakfast so horrible coffee in sachets not even English bacon or sausage burger buns rubbish not much choice in foods at all the same menu in the afternoon as evenings u do do get a separate menu for other food but again not a gd choice dessert aboustly rubbish Jamie great guy mo ok if ur faces fit if not then what I can I say i would not recommend it at all Cyprus great but hotel not at all all inclusive times only 11 till 11 which is bad met a great couple daddy and daughter made our holiday great laughs and gd times
Really enjoyed our time at the Paphiessa. It’s not a flashy place, but it’s got a proper friendly atmosphere the kind where the staff remember you and have a chat rather than just rushing you along. Our room was tidy and had everything we needed, and the pool was a nice little sun trap most of the day. What I liked most was the location close enough to walk into Paphos without feeling stuck in the busy bit. Paphos itself surprised me, loads of history but still plenty of laid-back cafés and bars to dip into. Felt like we got the best of both worlds. Would happily stay again. Shoutout to the owners the best people really!
The hotel is excellent. As a 3 star hotel it offers more than it should do. Some very few people by paying less they think that they booked a 5 star beach hotel and when they do not get what they want they threaten of writting but recommendations about it. We, the majority we love this place. It is our heaven
Absolutely shocking, a dirty run down hotel in a run down area. 3 nights of hell before we moved hotels.never return here again. Air con never works. Pools area awful every sunbed broke. Bar area shocking. I'll not say anymore do not go here.
One of the worse hotels I ever been too
..i book through Loveholidays the photos on the site not even close with the reality...Several facilities are in disrepair, including sunbeds, moldy mattresses, and a cracked swimming pool. The condition of the room is also bad but realy bad.. dirty sheets and bed bugs. Very old all the decoration. The food was also not even close to standards everything was spoiled...
Stayed at Paphiessa Hotel and honestly couldn’t have asked for better value for money! The staff were super friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The rooms were ideal – clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for our trip.
The location was spot on too, everything we wanted to see and do was close by, which made getting around really easy. One of the best parts was definitely the bar had the best time there with my mates, such a great atmosphere to chill out and have a laugh in the evenings.
The staff was very accommodating, the room was old needs updating. But for the price you get what you paid for.
We had a meal in the restaurant and the person was lovely the food was great.
First the good points
1.The hotel is 15 minutes walk from the sea front and a bus services running to most attractions is just outside the hotel.
2.Staff especially Muhammed and Jamie are a font of knowledge and incredibly friendly and helpful.
3.The hotel is very quiet and seems practically empty at times meaning there is no problem getting a sunlounger or getting served at the bar.
Bad points
1.The hotel has a bad cockroach problem
2. All inclusive is much poorer than other hotels I have stayed in with very limited choices and depends on who serves you as to what is included.
3.Hotel is very dated and in needed of renovation
4.No entertainment at all during the day or evening.
Very old hotel with horrible beddings and very dirty. The toilets were full of cockroaches. The room service didn't change the bedding every day instead they turned over the same sheets. Toilets smelled horrible. The aircon was vey old and weak and shower temperature was going hot and cold constantly. Luckily, we didn't book our stay with any meals included but i can imagine how terrible the food will be. Don't recommend at all.
I was very satisfied, very helpful staff, clean, rooms cleaned every day, towels and bed linen changed, wonderful swimming pool, air conditioning included in the price, low price, perfect.
It's not the best hotel but for the price its OK,breakfast was not nice ,very cheap ingredients, but I made do with jam on toast, the pizza is gorgeous though, our room was very clean, but we had a problem with the shower it was going very hot then very cold, air con wasn't cold ,wether it was just our room im not sure ,they did have the sink tap fixed ,because it was just hot water coming out ,I did not want yo mention the shower in case they though I was just complaining, pool area we never had a problem getting a lounger, it was noisy during the day as its buy a busy dule carriageway, but night time was quite, hotel is very quiet, nice bar ,and the cats are lovely, Muhammad is absolutely lovely, always trying to make you welcome and asking if everything is OK, and sagar he's lovely to ,it's not wheelchair friendly as lots of steps, 15 mins walk to a beautiful harbour, I would return, but no breakfast next time 😀.
Absolutely loved our stay here Mohammod was very attentive always make sure we were OK and food was to our satisfaction nothing was to much for him
Friendly staff, perfect location and clean rooms. Value for money is unbelievable.
We will definitely return, thank you for welcoming us.
The hotel staff are 5* there great lovely and go above and beyond especially Mohammed and saggar,, the breakfast is nice but the lunch and the dinner on the other hand is not nice at all,, the beds are hard but other then that very clean and tidy as long as you do tell the maid !!
Would I go back to the hotel is the question ? yes !! you get what you pay for but I wouldn’t go all inclusive I would go bed and breakfast
