The St. Regis Doha

The St. Regis Doha offers a vibrant yet polished luxury experience. We stayed at Marsa Arabia and came to the St Regis Doha to enjoy the pool, beach and restaurants, all of which were excellent. The beach and pool areas are well-maintained and lively without feeling overwhelming, while the dining options offer great variety and consistently high quality.

The staff across the property were attentive, warm, and extremely professional. The concierge team was particularly helpful, making reservations and arrangements effortless and ensuring our plans ran smoothly.

A special mention to Manan Arora, whose hospitality truly stood out. His attention to detail, calm efficiency, and genuine warmth elevated our experience and made us feel exceptionally well taken care of. Overall, a fantastic stay with strong service, great amenities, and the unmistakable St. Regis standard.

We spent a week over Christmas at the St Regis and were very impressed. The hotel offers excellent value for money compared with similar properties elsewhere in the Middle East.

We had a terrace room on the 2nd floor. The balcony opened up onto a large terrace which was shared by about 15-20 rooms, though we never saw anybody else out there. Unfortunately the terrace doesn't get the sun but it is a nice space to sit out if you want some peace and quiet. The terrace is above Vine restaurant and is a little noisy when brunch is taking place but we were not interrupted at all in the evening.

The star of the hotel is the swimming pool which is excellent. The hotel was busy whilst we were there over the festive period but there were always loungers available. We didn't spend time on the beach but that looked very well maintained and, again, there were always loungers available.

All the staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Indika, in particular, provided a lovely welcome when we arrived and looked out for us throughout our stay and whilst checking out. He is a credit to St Regis.

Housekeeping was perhaps the one area that was a little hit or miss. Not that it warranted any complaints but it was a bit pot luck as to whether the room would be turned down in the evening and how many towels would be placed in teh bathroom each day. Real first world problems!

We ate in a numb er of the restaurants with Rivaaj being our favourite. The butter chicken was stunning. We also liked having a drink at Novikov's Beach Club each evening, taking advantage of happy hour prices. We have stayed in a number of hotels in Doha in recent years and it is nice to find somewhere where there is a good bar right on the beach, serving cocktails in the evening.

We had a wonderful holiday at the hotel and spent a lot of time at the kids club. The staff were very good, caring, and attentive. Agnes especially stood out—she took great care of the children and made the experience enjoyable and stress-free for us as parents. Thank you, Agnes!

We stayed at the hotel for five nights over Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself is stunning, and the rooms are beautiful, spacious, and very well furnished.

The pool area is absolutely stunning and a real highlight. Food at Vine was excellent throughout our stay. I did, however, miss having a quiet bar where you could enjoy a glass of wine without having to go to the Engine Room.

Most of the staff were extremely attentive, but a few truly stood out and deserve special mention. Jackaline at Vine is an absolute star — friendly, professional, and always welcoming. Gabriel at the door was fantastic, and we were also very impressed with the lady who assists with the buggies and taxis; she was always helpful and efficient.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas stay and would happily return.

I visited the St. Regis Doha using a day pass for the pool, and overall it was a disappointing experience.

The welcome on arrival was fine, but service by the pool was very poor and extremely slow. I had to ask for a menu twice and eventually got up to place the order myself, only for it to be delivered to the wrong table. This level of service is not what you expect from a hotel of this calibre.

The pool area itself was not relaxing. The music was far too loud, and there were many screaming children. While families may not mind this, it significantly affected the atmosphere. Even the guests sitting next to me — who had a small child — were complaining about the noise and slow service.

Overall, the hotel felt more like a busy, mass-market resort than a luxury property. Compared to the Four Seasons Doha, the service was far below standard, and I wouldn’t choose to spend another pool day there and was glad not to have stayed there (it was one of the properties I considered).

Everything about the St. Regis Doha is exceptional. Its location is perfect, the beach inviting, the food is excellent, and the accommodations are so very comfortable.

The unique selling point of this hotel is the tremendous level of hospitality and service offered to its guests, which is beyond five star, coupled with excellent value for money compared to many other five star hotels in Qatar. The hotel is designed to cater for couples and families.

Most of our previous winter breaks have been to Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Oman so we decided to try Qatar for a change. Based on this hotel’s competitive rates which include a good buffet breakfast together with the positive Tripadvisor comments, the St Regis matched our expectations. The rooms are big and well equipped. The beds are extremely comfortable with good quality bedding. The bathroom is spacious. Soundproofing, however, can be an issue if you have noisy people in an adjoining room, which we did on the first night but the hotel staff dealt with it very effectively and we were troubled no further. We would recommend paying a little extra for a room on a higher floor with a sea view, because some of them overlook a large car park and a loading area, which is not ideal.

The two buildings that comprise the hotel are large and imposing with around 300 rooms. At the time we were there over Christmas, occupancy was around 80% and although it was bustling it was not overwhelming. The outside area comprises an Olympic size swimming pool (heated to around 30 degrees) and a fairly small beach front. Sunbeds are placed far enough apart on the beach to not feel you are imposing on other guests. At midday, however, the French themed light relaxing background music from the Vilebrequin beach bar is suddenly drowned out by thumping music from the Novikov restaurant and beach club next door, which is part of the hotel, resulting in a cacophony of noise that can impact on guests relaxing on the beach. This happened every day we were there. Background music isn’t really an issue but having two pieces of music clashing is irritating – have one or the other but not both.

Apart from breakfast at Vine and snacks at the Vilebrequin beach restaurant, the only other restaurant we tried was Hakkasan. It is part of a group that serves a fusion of Chinese/Asian dishes. Food, as expected for a reputable group, was very good.

Every member of staff we encountered was truly exceptional, going above and beyond expectations in order to ensure that every comfort was provided. There are too many to mention and I cannot remember all their names, but would make a special mention to Chathu who managed the pool area during a busy week. He always made sure we had sun loungers set out for us in our preferred spot on the beach, and to Kendi who served us at breakfast and for lunch in Vilebrequin. Front desk and concierge staff were always very helpful and accommodating. Front Office Manager Manan Arora ensured that everything was taken care of.

My kids always have fun at their kids club the staff are so friendly and specially Carla she is so caring and helpful and always welcoming and i always feel safe to leave my kids with her at the kids club.

We did a five night stay on the way back from Australia. This is a huge hotel with two wings and a bit out the back. We did half board which I wouldn’t recommend. There are too many restrictions on what you can order and where you can eat. Breakfast is good with a large selection.
Our sea view room was 1133. Not a great view with a big chunk of it being of the other block. The room was big though the decor a bit dated. Housekeeping was inconsistent. We had a chat with our butler but nothing changed.
The pool is huge but most of the beds are taken early. We preferred the beach though the sand could do with a rake as there were stony bits. The sea was warm and nice to swim in. You will get towels and water bottles brought to you.
The location isn’t brill. Next door is the intercontinental and that’s about it. Doha is not a straightforward city to get around - especially if you want to walk - with various sections. The underground isn’t far away but only goes to certain sections.

Our overall stay was perfect and truly memorable. While the reception check-in process took a bit longer than expected, everything was eventually handled well, and the staff remained professional and courteous throughout.

Breakfast at Vine Restaurant, particularly the buffet, was not as extensive as what we’ve experienced at other 5-star hotels. However, what really made the difference was the exceptional staff — their friendliness, attentiveness, and willingness to help completely elevated the experience.

The absolute highlight of our stay was the Kids Club. The activities were incredibly well-organized and full of fun, especially during Christmas. From face painting with Jeaneth, to gingerbread making, and ending the day with a cozy movie night — every detail was thoughtfully planned. A special mention goes to Carla and Agnes, who did an amazing job and truly stood out as stars. Their dedication, energy, and care for the children were outstanding and definitely deserve recognition.

Overall, everything came together beautifully, and we left with wonderful memories. We would happily return and recommend this hotel, especially for families.

My stay at the St. Regis was nothing short of exceptional. The level of service was impeccable ; attentive without ever being intrusive. Every detail reflected a deep understanding of luxury hospitality.

I would especially like to recognize Aigul, who assisted me from day one through Guest Reservations and continued to support me throughout my entire stay. Her service was truly warm, professional, proactive, and thoughtful. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was seamless.

We stayed at the St. Regis Doha for 8 days in December, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish.
The weather was beautiful, allowing us to swim both in the sea and in the huge pool, which was always clean and very well maintained. The entire hotel is spotlessly clean, and the rooms are very spacious. The beds are extremely comfortable, which made it easy to relax and fully unwind.
The staff deserves special praise: everyone was incredibly kind, friendly, and always helpful. The service throughout the hotel is truly first-class. The butlers in particular go above and beyond to fulfill every wish and make your stay as comfortable as possible.
We felt very well rested during our stay. The pool staff was also exceptionally attentive and helpful, providing excellent service at all times.
We would especially like to thank Mr. Doğukan, Ms. Gözde, Mr. Damith, Ms. Keanna, and Ms. Jeaneth for making our stay so memorable. Their dedication and hospitality truly made a difference.
We highly recommend this hotel and would love to return.

An unplanned stop over in Doha - one night - the staff were very polite and helpful - especially the valet named Devanesh - he went far beyond reasonable, proving the St Regis quality of service. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had - choice and quality was outstanding.

The St. Regis in Doha is one of the best hotels in the city. It is very luxurious and offers high standard amenities. We spent a wonderful week at the hotel.

The hotel is located in Downtown Doha right at the beach and has a very large olympia sized pool. Everything at the pool is decorated in light pastel colours and sponsored by the Vilebequin brand. Pool/beach staff very nice.

Service was exceptional, the staff in the restaurants as well as at the beach and reception were very friendly. As it was Ramadan during our stay there were only a few restaurants open but food was very good and Eid celebration buffet was absolutely delicious.

The location is very good and one could reach the Souk, Mina District, shopping malls, the harbour etc. in less than 20 minutes. Taxis very inexpensive.

Rooms are very luxurious and comfortable. House keeping did an amazing job with cleaning daily and a turndown service in the evening. t

We can definetly recommend this hotel for a trip to Doha. In fact we liked it so much that we are coming back in April 2026, this time with our kids! Looking forward to staying at this amazing place again.
