Great value for money. Anick was great. She arranged personalised tours. A few things to note
1. Airport transfer free is 3000 Vatu not 18Aud as advertised.
2. No A/C in my room but I was okay with that because I was originally from Sri Lanka

Lagoon Gardens is by far the best place to stay in Port Vila.

The lush gardens right on the lagoon create a peaceful and unique atmosphere. Morgan, Yvette, and the entire team were incredibly kind and always happy to help, whether it was booking tours or assisting with anything else we needed.

The facilities are excellent: there’s a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor BBQ area, and free kayaks so you can explore the lagoon anytime you like. They also provide snorkeling gear, which you can take with you on your beach trips.

We’d definitely come back without hesitation! It felt like home.

Property is really dated and basic and needs some maintenance and deep cleaning. It’s cheap though, so you get what you pay for.

It‘s far from the city centre and there‘s literally nothing around. The hotel next door has a small restaurant, there‘s a chinese take away (inadvisable) and supermarket a 10 min walk down the street and that‘s it. TV has no program.

Our room had missing window pieces and the mosquito nets on the outside were broken too, so had a lot of ants, flies and bugs inside the room - I highly recommend to bring repellant and/or a mosquito net for the bed (there wasn’t one in the room) for calm nights. There was also no remote for the AC, so you need to keep the windows open anyways.
No shampoo and bodywash provided.

The owners and their staff ladies were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast consists of coffee/tea, toast, eggs and some fruits - nothing special but tasty and totally fine PLUS you‘re sitting just next to the lagoon in the morning, which was our highlight everyday.

Would recommend it for a short stay but it‘s really too quiet, dated and basic for a longer holiday. We were happy to leave after 6 nights.

Unreal hospitality! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and helped with any questions we had. They arranged all our tours at a great price. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I had an amazing stay at the Lagoon Gardens. The owner and workers were very friendly and helpful and the grounds were beautiful. I was able to go kayaking on the lagoon and the location was perfect to walk to the market and into town.

Everything was very basic. the shower was terrible, not good flow of water. the privacy of bathroom was very much compromised.

The mosquito net was just for a baby not for the whole bed. The air conditions unit was only for show. The room TV was not connected with arial antenna and the youtube was not connected.

The breakfast was very basic. We suggest the owner was not seriously running the property.
Therefore, we left it on 25th of July and expect some money to be refunded to us. The owner also agreed for refund if you allow them.

Beautiful garden and waterside location and really friendly staff. Some distance from town, accessible by bus (150vt/ person) but traffic can be slow. Large supermarket and fresh f&v market nearby at Korman. Facilities a bit basic , maybe still just recovering from earthquake damage in Dec.

We were quite disappointed with our experience. When we arrived, the towels provided were visibly dirty, which was not a great first impression.

The hot water wasn’t working when we checked in, although they did attempt to fix it, to no avail.

We also didn’t have the air-conditioning remote on our first night, which made the room uncomfortable. When we finally received it the next day, the air-conditioning still didn’t work properly.

While staff were polite, the overall maintenance and attention to detail were lacking. With a bit more care and responsiveness, the experience could be much better for future guests.

Quiet. Accessible transportation. Self content rooms. Kitchen. Owners of the property are very friendly. The view is magical. The green surrounding with the lagoon view is priceless.

Hotel looks nothing like it’s advertised. It’s tired, untidy & limited services. Terms said they allowed changes (forfeiting one night stay - which is fair) but hotel refused refund remaining days of stay (moved to hotel next door). Expedia were not much better and did not meet the advertised terms but in the end gave us a small refund. Do not recommend as terms are not kept by either hotel or Expedia

Small and pleasant resort. Friendly staff, easy communication. Enjoyable breakfast. The grounds are very well maintained and have incredible gardens. I highly recommend it for a few days in Vanuatu.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay the Hotel. Very reasonable price. Pool area was very nice and quiet. Really nice little area over the water to relax. The hotel owner is a gem, had a great conversation with him.

A Hidden Gem! The Lagoon Gardens was amazing! Our hosts Morgan and Annika welcomed us like family and delivered an experience like no other.

The property itself has a lot of potential, but it appears unfinished and unintentional in how it's been managed. The area surrounding is not centrally located, which is fine, but I think that puts the onus on the hotel to create an inviting atmosphere on site for guests. The staff are lovely and the rooms are cleaned, but the property overall appears unmaintained and lacking thought regarding guest experience. The rooms are quite shabby, and in my room the curtains were falling off the rings and stained. The dock and the swimming pool could both be highlights of this space, but unfortunately they are rather uninviting, appearing unfinished and both lacking proper seating areas.

The garden setting with pathways is beautiful. The cottages are spacious with a small little outside sitting area. The property is dated and although clean and tidy is in need of refreshing and updating. Breakfast was included and was good. But otherwise not a restaurant on premises. For the price and a one night stay it was enjoyable. Would not plan to stay long term.
