Saint-Denis

We found the owner of the St. DENIS HOTEL in Forges les Eau a gentleman who went out of his way to accommodate us. I would strongly recommend this hotel and also the village to any one.

receptionnists smoke at night, smell of cigarettesmoke even went up two floors into our nonsmoking room

Hotel dirty, breakfast need improvement. The plastic glasses in the bathroom not wrap in plastic. And also an used soap was still in the bathroom. Won't be back

Quite near to Beauvais airport, aprox. 50 km, you will need 50' driving early in the morning. Not all rooms with en-suite bathroom. My room was odd, with furnitures like bites and pieces, and not all of them in great shape or installed stably. Separate WC from sink, saw it also elsewhere in France, do not know why. Although the m2 of the room, the bad layout made it look as a small one. Free car park, just outside the hotel. No A/C in my room, had to leave an open window at night. Also, lot of noise, due to high traffic (though the double-glazed windows help a lot). Excellent wi-fi signal. Resto-bar at the ground floor.

Great central location. Easy free parking. Huge room and great value. Went there to do the Avenue Verte which starts just down the road and goes to Dieppe. Had an amazing weekend and some of that was due to the hotel being better than my expectations. No lift and steep stairs were not a problem for us but if you have mobility issues then this is not a modern establishment and external sounds are not muffled but it is a quiet town.

je n'ai pas passé une nuit très agréable... Le lit penchait du côté où je me trouvais, la chambre manquait de chauffage, de plus, la salle de bain n'était pas assez chaude ce matin, et la douche manquait de pression, l'eau n'était pas très chaude.

Sinon, le personnel est accueillant.

Het betalen verliep niet op de gebruikelijke manier. De creditcardgegevens werden slechts gebruikt voor het boeken. Betalen geschiedde cash.

Bonjour nous avons passer deux nuits superbe la chambre était telle que je l'imaginais très calme tous étais à coter de l'hôtel pour nous c'est ce qu'on recherchais nous reviendrons sûrement en hiver

Très moyen, beaucoup de bruit car la chambre est à côté et au dessus des portes d'entrée et sortie principales bref pour une nuit, ça passe.

c'est très agréable de se savoir attendu le soir tard quand on est sur un long trajet avec des incertitudes. petit déjeuner très complet le matin, avec de bonnes indications sur la région et ce qu'on peut y faire

Hotelværelset var ret lille og med bad på gangen. Vi savnede muligheden for at lave kaffe på værelset og et køleskab. Men ellers var hotellet fin til prisen, morgenmaden var fin til prisen, men ikke noget overdådigt. Ejeren var flink og nem at snakke med. Parkering var nem. Der var offentlig gratis parkering lige udenfor. Hotellet er ikke egnet til dårligt gående. Når man kommer ind, skal man op ad en stejl trappe for at komme til værelserne. Hvis man forventer 3-stjernede forhold, skal man ikke vælge dette hotel.

An unusual hotel - very quirky with lovely features in the rooms. Simple but more than you need. The owner was friendly and very helpful. good breakfast to set us on our way. Great place for cyclists - very safe bike storage and the owner was helpful with some bike DIY. good selections of restaurants near by. I recommend the Marrakesh

Very friendly owners, excellent safe place to store the bikes. Nice room and shower. Good local food - the assiette de Charcuterie was memorable. Loved it.

This hotel was in a good location for our stop en route and the couple who run it were very nice and helpful. It was convenient that we could eat in the grill-bar in the hotel and the food was good. Our room and the hotel had recently been painted and was in good order and very clean. It is a 1 star hotel in a good and convenient location in a nice town. I would happily stay there again as it's excellent value for money. It seems to be particularly used by cyclists and had a lock-up area which must be very useful for them.

Clean bed, clean shower and clean WC - what more do you need? Absolutely no frills however and if you're used to 3* plus accommodation, this won't be for you! Sound insulation between the rooms and the plumbing is non existent!!

A very convenient over night stop. the hotel is in the centre of the town. Our room was comfortable and spacious. We had no problem parking on the street near by. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was closed on the night we were there.

Friendly owners, put us (2 men) in a suite rather than the twin room booked.
Good food in restaurant below - much better than the photos of fast food outside suggested.

The weather was awful so cannot comment on surroundings but hotel OK
