We had a whole house! Loads of room at the apartment with lounge, kitchen diner downstairs and a bathroom and bedroom upstairs. We were close to the pool.
the area around the pool was nice and we spent a lot of time the day there reading and relaxing.

Cons:

Unfortunately the pool was being cleaned all day. Also we needed swimming hats to go in which we obviously didn't have. they were for sale at the hotel but I don't know how much they were.
There is a restaurant and a function room both of which were booked so it was very loud very late which was unfortunate.

Anlage ist schön und romantisch
Pros:

Die Anlage Pazo do Rio mit dem alten Gebäude und Garten ist wunderschön und die Appartements sind auch sehr angenehm und gut ausgestattet. Die gesamte Anlage ist in gutem Zustand und wird gut gepflegt. Die Lage war für uns praktisch, ca. 80 m von dem Hotel ist eine Bushaltestelle, der Bus fährt je nach Uhrzeit jede 20 oder 40 Min ins Zentrum von La Coruna. Pool war sauber, man benötigt Badekappen. Empfehlenswert ist ein Mietauto um die Gegend zu erkunden, den die Busfahrt zum Bahnhof ist etwas umständlich. Die Damen an der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich und haben uns beim Kontakt zu Mietautos geholfen. Parkplatz ist großzügig und wird abends geschlossen, mit Code kommt man allerdings rein.

Cons:

Kein Restaurantbetrieb abends, nur von Donnerstag bis Sonntag zur Mittagszeit und Vorbestellung - das wird anders bei Booking.com beworben, nur im Kleingedruckten zu ersehen . Das war für uns ein wichtiges Kriterium, dieses Hotel zu buchen. Supermärkte und gute Restaurants befinden sich nicht in der Nähe, die in der Nähe waren alle zu. Das Frühstück fanden wir schwach, das was bei booking.com im Bild gezeigt wird, entspricht nicht dem, was wir erfahren haben.

Absolute Katastrophe! Diese Unterkunft gehört zu den schlechtesten, in denen ich je übernachtet habe.
Die Unterkunft war alles andere als sauber. Überall wirkte es ungepflegt und unhygienisch. Das gesamte Mobiliar ist alt, verschmutzt, beschädigt und teilweise kaputt. Die Fotos auf Booking haben mit der Realität nichts zu tun und sind aus meiner Sicht irreführend.
Die Matratzen rochen extrem nach Feuchtigkeit, was sehr unangenehm war und den Eindruck mangelnder Hygiene verstärkte. Die Betten sind außerdem völlig durchgelegen und äußerst unbequem. Erholsamer Schlaf war praktisch unmöglich.
Besonders schlimm waren die Toiletten, die stark nach Urin und Abwasser rochen. Ein solcher Zustand ist für zahlende Gäste schlicht nicht akzeptabel.

Ich kann diese Unterkunft auf keinen Fall empfehlen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist miserabel, und ich würde niemals wieder hier übernachten. Wer Wert auf Sauberkeit, Hygiene und Ehrlichkeit bei der Darstellung der Unterkunft legt, sollte dieses Hotel unbedingt meiden.
