Pleasant stay, really appreciated the time spent at Heath Cottage.
Pros:

I love the way it worked. I booked the room. On arrival I had key ready for my room without additional sign ins. The room was pleasant, neat. We took family room as family of 4 including 2 toddlers and master bed was big enough to handle all of us without the need for extra arragements. On leave we just dropped the key into deposit box - no need for sign offs.

Cons:

The restaurant part is a bit misleasing. Currently it is not operating. It would be nice if microwave and/or small fridge would be available in the room or at least somewhere in the corridor for clients as replacement. Although, hotel has quite good location and Tesco Express with sandwitches is close by.

Clean hotel. Lack of staff.
Pros:

Location, parking.

Cons:

Lack of staff around- only saw one member of staff when we checked in. So couldn’t get any more tea, coffee or milk.
Aldo if you are staying here check to see if there is a party on in the bar. There was when we stayed and the rooms we gad been given- one right above the bar next to the stairs- the music was really loud. Our other room was along the corridor which we thought would be better however the window opened up to the outside area off the bar- so it was just as loud with happy drunk people getting louder as the night went on. The music went on till past 12, so would definitely say if you are staying here ask if they have a party on. As you can’t use the facilities and can’t sleep! Also the window in room 1 doesn’t close and there is a sky light right above the bed that lets the light in the morning.

Pros:

The bed was comfy.

Cons:

I travelled for work, after a long day of meetings I wanted to go back to a quiet room. Too relax. From 5:00pm until 8pm I endured blasting music from downstairs. I thought it was a function, went to check. It was a lone member of staff blasting his music! I politely asked him to turn it down, it made no difference, thumping through the floor. Hours of it! He dragged chairs across the floor also, pick them up ! He just seemed like he didn’t care about his job or the people in the hotel. I have stayed before and always had a pleasant time. This time, the staff need training . It was horrible .
