Friendly staff and cosy room.
I didnt stay that night, due to change in facilutues at hotel that I originally booked
The fact that no refund was offered or chance to use the monies for another hotel later in the year. I use this app a few times a year. I felt as a loyal customer this should of been offered to me.
The room was a good size, the sofa and the bed were both very comfortable and cosy. Tea and coffee facilities were provided as well as some breakfast items, which was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The car park had ample spaces and easy to park in.
The bathroom wasn't clean, had to clean the towel rail and bath before we used them. The TV in the room was very small, we ended up borrowing one from my partners parents house so we could relax in the room during the evenings and mornings. Our room was also at the front of the hotel which was very noisy due to the road.
Unfortunately none of the milk or breakfast items were dairy free, we did ask but were advised vegan option was not available. Also the bar didn't seem to be open at all during our 3 night weekend stay.

Had to call to get any information felt like no one was attending the property
Good location and parking. Staff was helpful. Check-in was smooth and had no hassle for checking out.
The place require some upgradation to carpets and some other facilities.
Reasonable price.
Room was clean.
Person who did check in was helpful.
Room was serviced if requested.
Would have preferred staff on site all the time.
Fabric of rooms has seen better days.
Friendliness, cleanliness. Comfortable and quiet for a great night's sleep
Plumbing breakdown and no engineer until the morning meant limited hot water; staff were up front about this and gave a range of options, one of which was a discount. I was there on the hottest day of the year so far and another option was free beer. Decisions, decisions..
No staff working however very well organized arrangements for arrival
The beds were ok
Cleanliness. The hotel used to be lovely with great staff, lovely breakfast and food. Not comfortable with no one on site.
Location
There appeared to be a loud local men only rave on with loud music until late
The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The room was clean, with fresh white bedding and smelt amazing. The house itself was beautiful and had some history too it the staff were happy to share with us. Staff were accommodating and offered to move us rooms to avoid going up 2 flights of stairs as they had one on rhe first floor that wasnt in use.
The bathroom had a few mould stains on the grouting around the bath. Not particularly bad, but noticeable.
