Beautiful view in the heart of Ponta Delgada
Pros:

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. While every staff member we had contact with was great, two, in particular stand out for always going above and beyond. Elsa and Louisa excellent representatives and stewards of your facility.

Cons:

While we understand there are building code requirements and necessities we may not be required to utilize, the washroom in our room was clean and bright, but unfortunately the accessibility shower made the bathroom difficult to use, as water would eventually cover the entire floor and everything would be in water unless several towels both ours, and the hotels were needed to contain the water.

Fantastic location, balcony with views over the harbour
Staff, especially Elsa, were friendly & exceedingly helpful.
The room was bright and exceptionally clean. Massive bed, lots of towels & coffee machine in room.
The wellness area was a bonus
I had an early flight & they provided a takeaway breakfast in the morning.

Pros:

Hotel Gaivota was recommended to me by a professional acquaintance. It did not disappoint! Great location across from the Marina. Within walking distance to everything in Ponta Delgada. Yummy, fresh breakfast. Spotless - Very clean. Staff was awesome and helpful. Price was right. I loved it here and will stay again when I go to Ponta Delgada.

Cons:

Truly, I have nothing bad to say about this hotel.
