A simpatia dos funcionários foi sempre excepcional. Mesmo muito amáveis, sempre atenciosos e com extrema educação.
A localização é privilegiada e os quartos muito bons.Aconselho

Cons:

O pequeno almoço poderia ter mais opções, mas era agradável. A vista do quarto dava direto àeuinas e casa abandonadas. Obviamente não é culpa do hotel, mas era desagradável. De resto, tudo muito bom.

City center hotel with excellent breakfast
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Gaivota Azores and would definitely recommend it.

Our room didn't have a view, but it was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The bed was beautifully made with high-quality white linens and elegant embroidered details, which gave the room a luxurious feel.

The breakfast exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed fresh orange juice, omelets made to order, freshly baked pastries, a good selection of cheeses, fruit, milk, and other breakfast items. Everything was replenished promptly, so there was always plenty to choose from.

The location is excellent—just a short walk to the city center, with many cafés and restaurants nearby. The public beach is only one minute away, making it perfect for a relaxing stay.

The hotel also provides beach towels for €2 per towel, which was very convenient.

The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Our room was cleaned every day, and we also booked two excursions through the hotel, both of which were excellent.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Hotel Gaivota Azores to anyone visiting São Miguel.

Cons:

Turkish sauna did not work.
