De incheck zonder personeel is onpersoonlijk
Pros:

Mooie rustige en klassieke ligging. Goede uitvalsbasis voor wijn op het land.

Cons:

Alles ging mis met de incheck zonder personeel en zonder kamer sleutel. De app om de deuren te openen werkte niet. Echt ellendig om dan te gaan bellen. Uiteindelijk moesten we bellen met noodnummer en nog eens de kamer betalen

Cons:

Het kussen was voor ons te hoog/dik. Gevolg, lastig slapen met nek/hoofdpijn. Zou fijn zijn als er ipv 2 dezelfde, 2 verschillende kussens waren qua dikte

Het boeken van dit hotel is pure verwennerij in een ongekend mooi stukje Limburg!

Ga hier niet naartoe. Een startend hotel of probleempje is niet erg, onbetrouwbaarheid wel!
Pros:

Het personeel bij binnenkomst was erg aardig, ook bij het ontbijtbuffet.

Cons:

De manager/leidinggevende: Helaas een teleurstellende ervaring uiteindelijk.
De comfortkamer is vrij klein, weinig comfort wat dat betreft. Dat mocht op zich de pret niet drukken, maar wel goed om te weten voor nieuwe boekingen.
De tweede nacht hadden we een lekkage midden in de nacht. De douchebak boven ons bleek te lekken en het stroomde bij ons de kamer in, en in de douche ook een straal water door het plafond. Bed nat, tassen nat. Omdat het even duurde voor we er wakker van werden. Totdat het harder begon te stromen. Geen nummer te vinden om te bellen (ook niet wakker genoeg om de boeking erbij te pakken). Zelf maar gaan zoeken naar een emmer in het hotel. Het water liep inmiddels de kamerdeur zelfs uit. Na ca. een halfuur stopte de lekkage.
De andere ochtend gemeld en de lekkageplekken laten zien, alles was inmiddels opgedroogde omdat het buiten 33 graden was. Er werd gezegd dat bekend was dat de kamer boven ons een lekkende douche had, maar dat ze niet wisten hoe groot de omvang was. Heb het even ter informatie aangenomen toen, want er zijn ergere dingen. Een probleem op vakantie is om te beginnen een luxeprobleem. Ik sta dan niet meteen om mijn achterste benen. Er werd toegezegd dat we later gecompenseerd zouden worden.
Na een aantal dagen gebeld, ik moest mailen. Geen reactie tot de week erna. Weer gebeld. Er is toegezegd dat ik diezelfde dag nog iets zou horen van de manager. Ook dat werd niet waargemaakt.
RESUMÉ: Het hotel weet van lekkage, maar besluit af te wachten en niet te onderzoeken wat de omvang hiervan is. En besluit dat gasten hier last van mogen hebben.
Als dat daadwerkelijk het geval is worden er toezeggingen over compensatie, die worden niet waargemaakt. Gast moet zelf herhaaldelijk contact opnemen en krijgt geen reactie.
ADVIES: Ga hier niet naartoe. Een startend hotel is niet erg, een probleempje tijdens verblijf ook niet, maar onbetrouwbaarheid wel!!
AANVULLING: We hebben het geld van onze tweede overnachting terug gehad.

Loved the food and the chef!
The room was very comfortable. Well designed and with the heat of the last week, the ac was brilliant, nice and quiet.
The place is newly done up and looks great. It is great to see it being used. My 89 year old mother thoroughly enjoyed her meal!

Cons:

I wouldn't say I didn't like it, but the water in the shower didn't flow away as quickly as it should so it ran into the bathroom floor, leaving the mat very wet. You'll have to keep an eye on that.

Also, the full length mirror was tucked in the corner, hiding almost behind the curtain. Tricky to see yourself that way. I am sure there have been discussions about this. There is space to the right of the tv, where the mirror would fit perfectly.

And don't forget napkins/serviettes when serving food. Just detail.
It didn't take away from the experience.

Het verblijf was goed en de omgeving was mooi.
Pros:

Het ontbijt was goed maar erg duur. De dekbedden waren iets te dik voor deze tijd (het was overdag 42 graden) Het digitaal in-en uitchecken gaf nogal wat moeite maar er was altijd wel assistentie te vinden.

Heerlijk rustig in een gastvrije en vriendelijke omgeving
Pros:

In deze warme dagen goede airco waarbij je niet verkouden wordt op de kamer. Verder prima bed en douche

Cons:

Niets wat niet beviel.
Wel gaat alles eigenlijk via online waarbij m.i. de uitleg via de site iets duidelijker kan zijn mbt inchecken en hoe dan bv de deuren werken ipv een kamersleutel (die ik daarna overigens wel nog kreeg). Zeker als er na 22u geen personeel meer is.

Very comfortable hotel in historic setting
Pros:

We picked this hotel mainly because it was a convenient stopping point fairly close to the motorway on a long journey down to the Alps but we would happily return for a longer stay. The room was excellent and spacious with very effective air conditioning (very welcome as it was the middle of the recent heatwave). Dinner in the restaurant was of a very high standard and the buffet breakfast was excellent.
