Andrew and Carol were perfect hosts. The location was very convenient for Totland beach, visiting the Needles and exploring the area. We were able to store our bikes safely. The hotel has a friendly atmosphere and guests were able to get to know each other. There was plenty of drink, including water, tea and coffee readily available and a well stocked honestly bar. The breakfast was excellent and all the staff were very friendly.

The hotel is finished to a beautiful and high standard. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. There is a great choice for breakfast. The little finishes really make this hotel - Elemis pillow spray and toiletries, bathrobe and slippers, fresh milk and chocolates. The lounge area and outdoor garden are a bonus!
We stayed one night in the Brook room and if I am being honest, the toilet seat needs replacing as it is very stained and there was not enough water pressure for the main shower head. I know other rooms also experienced this issue so we had to use the handheld shower head.
Located very close to the beach in a beautiful part of West Wight
It was hot when we stayed and the top floor rooms and landing were very warm. There were fans in the rooms that did help somewhat.
De locatie! Echt fantastisch, prachtig uitzicht op de kust en het vaste land en leuk om te wandelen en uit te gaan eten in de buurt.
The location was perfect - the staff were outstanding Andrew, Karen and Bridget could not have looked after us better. The honesty bar was properly stocked - down to ice and lemons! It was the small things - fresh milk - plenty of cold water - fans in rooms.

The hotel was in a great location near the sea. It was stylishly decorated and exceptionally well maintained and the breakfast was excellent and well presented

Lovely location, breakfast and breakfast service was great. Chocolates on bed, slippers, robe etc all nice touches
Bed was very comfortable. Fan in the wardrobe was put to good use. 4 sockets and USB next to bed which was good.
My room needed UHT milk or a cool box as I couldn’t exactly go out on to the next landing to the fridge in my PJs and milk was needed for my tea. Also the loo could do with a soft close lid. There wasn’t anywhere to put my suitcase and as the room was so small I had to keep moving it around or step over it.
Beautiful decor and nice little touches, such as pillow mist spray, chocolates on arrival.
The breakfast was terrific, great selection.
Lovely area at the back of the hotel to sit and sip drinks from the honesty bar !

We were offered another room because the bed was too small for us. (Queen not king). Friendly cleaners and service personnel. Absolutely great calm corner! Super close to the hut (nice walk on the seafront).
Way too warm in the room. There's a warm pipe under the floor as well as the fridge giving so much heat. Open windows all night and still extremely warm. The bed in the room we booked was clearly queen sized but was sold as king size. There must be a misunderstanding about bed sizes by the management.
Breakfast was excellent. The honesty bar worked well and I hope all guests continue to use the facility with integrity, trust can be lost very quickly. The bed and pillows were very comfortable for me.
