Convenient and comfortable accommodation for Glyndebourne opera - would readily stay there again.
Pros:

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. A jug of fresh milk for tea and coffee. The cooked course at breakfast was good. The location was ideal for attending Glyndebourne opera - 10 minutes away.

Cons:

The choice on the breakfast menu was restricted to just one dish although the chef did flex this slightly when requested.

Good location, but the facilities did not match the price charged.
Pros:

Very helpful location. Staff were friendly and keen to help.

Cons:

Décor and facilities were tired. Rooms were generally hot (one had a heated towel rail which could not be switched off). There was traffic noise all night in one room; in the other, food deliveries at 6.15am were right outside the door.

Pros:

Breakfast excellent. Friendly staff. Only disappointment was size of double bed - only 4ft6.
Also curtains are incredibly thin with no blackout blond.

Sunday lunch took 45 mins from order to delivery - apparently entered into till but not forwarded to kitchen. Then wrong

Excellent place to stay.
Pros:

We always try and stay at the Roebuck when we go to Glyndebourne for the opera. It's in a perfect location and has friendly staff and good facilities.

Cons:

We stayed in a different room this time and it was very hot during the night, as we were unable to turn off the towel rail. Other than that it was perfect.

Pros:

The service was fabulous, we even got food brought to our room in the evening from the pub, which we did not expect. Everyone who worked at the pub/inn was lovely and very helpful. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Cons:

The bath needed some work - it looked quite old and the side was coming off, but this did not in any way affect how lovely our stay was!

Couldn’t wish for anywhere better!
Pros:

Very comfortable rooms; clean and stylish - every detail had been thought through .
