Fantastic Breakfast. I must mention the exceptional work and service of both staff members Daniel & Carlos. I must also commend David Vazquez (spelling?) for his exceptional cocktail making skills in the hotel bar. Beds are large and very comfortable. It's generally very quiet in this part of town. The steep hill up from Old Town is actually a good thing, because it does not attract late night revellers from Downtown. Anything we asked for was granted promptly by the exceptional staff. Nothing was too much trouble. In addition to bus tours, I recommend hiring a car for the day from the hotel reception. Car is dropped off at reception and is great value. Great Service.
Breakfast Closing time was pulled in from 11:00 to 10:30 without warning.
Very large, nice rooms, and with your own terrace. Good breakfast, and extremely helpful staff.
Food in the buffet restaurant was very good but expensive, and the restaurant lacked atmosphere.
Amazing bungalow, modern, clean and extremely spacious. Nicely decorated. Very friendly and welcoming staff and a lovely bar, reasonable prices for food and drink
Slightly out of town. Pool area was quite small
Le personnel toujours souriant et attentionné.
le cadre super sympa
le petit déjeuné varié est super bon
Je vous recommande cet hotel !
Rien à signaler
The hotel is absolutely lovely, great location, wonderful, friendly & helpful staff. Breakfast is a mix of a buffet and a selection of hot dishes a la carte.
1) There were ants in my bathroom
2) A la carte restaurant’s card is a bit limited and not very exciting for vegetarians, but found there something to eat.
3) the pool area is rather small and the pool bar staff (one person) was very slow and didn’t speak much english. When I arrived it took her almost 10 min to give me the menu because she was busy chatting with two customers (it was literally these two, myself and one more gentleman in the entire pool bar area), there also came one gentlemen to order at the bar but the staff person was too busy chatting the customer let it go and went back to his lounger. Pool bar area definitely needs improvement.
Great hotel, but more of a 4 star
When we arrived a storm was raging in Puerto del Carmen and the hotel was literally leaking water everywhere however the staff remained calm and had the concern of the guests only on their mind. The wonderful Andrea checked us in and what a lovely greeting which included a glass of champagne while we tried to avoid water and wind at reception. The hotel itself is a boutique hotel with a small lobby and the restaurants/cocktail bar in a separate area which were beautifully decorated however unfortunately due to very bad storm damage we were unable to use these facilities. The breakfast was one of the best we have had and the avocado toast was amazing and each morning the lovely Maria would greet us with a big smile and feed us until we were bursting. Bedrooms were big and had everything that we needed - all rooms have some sea view however they all felt private with a lovely sitting out area. It takes a day or so to get the swing of the place as its very bouche but we loved it. The pool was cold however again there were 2 days of rain/cloud and a storm so forgiveness here the wellness pool was heated slighted and this was great. There is a chill zone on an elevated area however this means no talking as some of the guests were quite rude about this. Overall we had a lovely stay and I would certainly come back. Its a wonderful escape from the town.
A back up plan if there is a next storm which in a hotel predominately glass walls there needs to be a plan. Selection of drinks at the pool bar wasn't great and €8 for a smoothie was very expensive. We didn't get to try any of the cocktail classes or the bar as it was closed and we were offered no alternative to this for the week of our stay.
