We will not stay there again. We paid for a good hotel and we got a three star at best.
Pros:

The location is very good. The outside would be a very pleasant place to have a drink in warmer weather.

Cons:

Staff were not helpful, with the exception of Alfie. The room was not made up each day. The cushions on the bed were disgusting. The lighting was so dim that it was impossible to read except during the day by the window. The property looks very tired…chipped paint, chipped sink, floor in the bathroom coming loose. TV and safe had to be fixed. Thermostat in room didn’t work. 😟😩😟

Convenient stop over for tourists
Pros:

Perfectly good room, nice bed linen and good bathroom. Didn't take advantage of food & drink available but the downstairs bar looked nice and menu seemed good. Nice coffee making facilities and water in room. Wi-Fi good. Easy to get an Uber to stadium or decent 30 mins walk.

Cons:

Not particularly friendly or welcoming on arrival, no encouragement to use bar for dinner (may have). Some areas not that clean - dusty lamps and glasses although bathroom perfect. Perfectly adequate however. Probably not set up up as a work hotel - although there was a desk and well positioned plugs - lighting and hard chair made it less comfortable to work for hours! Think it would be a nice tourist hotel - especially in the summer (nice garden and easy walk)

proximity was good for what I needed to do in Twickenham

Cons:

The room was OK although the over stuffed chair was torn and tattered I thought that was not nice. And they didn’t ever clean the room properly. Didn’t refill coffee or tea, etc.. and to be honest the woman working the front office area/desk was rude.

Great location for the university
Pros:

Pros:

Camera accogliente con balconcino. Cambio asciugamani quotidiano. Letto comodo, caffè Nespresso in camera con cialde, doccia con acqua calda immediata. Negli spazi comuni tanti posti dove sedersi comodi sia dentro che fuori. Personale mediamente gentile (con qualche eccezione). Possibilità di usare il servizio di ristorazione se necessario, sia per pranzo che per cena.

Cons:

Come prima cosa: i tavoli della colazione il più delle volti vengono lasciati sporchi fra un cliente e l’altro. Pertanto quando si arriva al tavolo, briciole, macchie ecc tutte sparse nel posto dove si deve sedere il prossimo cliente. Decisamente non gradevole!
Scarsa la scelta di cibi, soprattutto la parte dolce. Direi che è il servizio che richiede un maggior lavoro di miglioria: attenzione alla pulizia, varietà e miglior qualità del cibo che si offre.
Suggerimenti: proporre fette di torte fresche spesso diverse, yogurt bianco, sia intero che magro (mentre c’è sempre quello al gusto frutta), pane fresco di diversi tipi da poter mangiare o tostato o fresco con burro marmellata/miele/Nutella, proporre diversi tipi di biscotti ogni due-3 giorni per rendere più attrattivo questo pasto che invece, per 14 giorni, è stato assolutamente identico dal primo all’ultimo giorno. Proporre scones o qualche brioches/croissant freschi e croccanti (non come quelle che ai trovano tutte le mattine mosci e francamente molto poco “interessanti”. Gran peccato davvero!!!

Il wi-fi funziona poco e male. Per me è stato un vero problema per il lavoro durante tutto il soggiorni….
