Not cheap for a 2 star hotel but acceptable in the circumstances
Pros:

Near office, had rooms avaialable when I had to stay 2 more nights owing to Berlin Airport strike

Cons:

Very old fashioned decor/ no breakfast

Personnel was happy to accommodate

Cons:

The facilities need better cleaning and maintenance.
The bed frames, as can be seen in the photos, are dirty. The sink had hair from the previous tenant, the window frame had more than 10 dead small black flys.
Behind the headboard of the bed there were even beer caps.

The photos used from the hotel are deceiving and portray a way better experince than what awaits you.
This isn't by any means a 3 star hotel.

Enjoyable comfortable stay
Pros:

I use this hotel often and more than happy with the hotel although it only does breakfast for groups or families. Not single occupants

Für den Preis (oder paar Euro mehr) kriegt man deutlich saubere Zimmer und ohne all diesen Mängeln, welche das Hotel hat
Pros:

Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und haben alles sehr gut erklärt, die Lage war auch sehr schön und man hat einige Orte auch ohne Probleme zu Fuß erreichen können.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war an sich in Ordnung, doch es hat meine Erwartungen nicht bestätigt.
Auf dem Teppichboden sind irgendwelche bräunlichen Flecken.
Die Fenster sind mit einem Klebeband „fixiert“ und beim öffnen hat man die Angst, das Fenster gleich in der Hand zu halten, man konnte das Fenster auch nicht kippen.
Die Zimmer sind so isoliert, das man alles hört, die lauten Zimmernachbarn.
Die Steckdosen sind zwar enthalten, doch sind sie von den Nachtschränkchen neben den Bett gut versteckt, so dass man die Möbel etwas verschieben muss, um seine Geräte gescheit laden zu können, ohne den Kabel zu beschädigen.
Die Matratze war Stein hart, man hatte das Gefühl man lege auf Steinen, also für Menschen im Älteren Alter oder mit Rücken Problemen eher ungeeignet.
Das Highlight des ganzen war das Badezimmer, welches anscheinend nie gereinigt wird. Die Dusche ist dreckig, der Boden ist eine reine Katastrophe - überall liegen Haare von vorherigen Gästen, was mir den Anschein gibt, dass es nicht Regelmäßig nach jedem Gast gründlich gereinigt wird. Dazu kommt noch das kalte Wasser in der Dusche - egal wie man es verstellt hat, man hat Eis Kaltes Wasser über seinen Körper gespürt.
