Great location and hotel, suited our needs for the stay
Pros:

Great location for our needs, restaurants, river, railway station, Hampton Court Palace, general site seeing.
Great room, good size set in historic environment,
warm, well equipped and clean.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Great location for breakfast and meals overlooking River Thames

Cons:

I think they coukd improve on the catering side, minor issues for some but noticeable i.e. no loose sugar for cereal, the cooked breakfast needed to be warmer, no hot plates for cooked breakast.
We arrived in the evening, so choice of any room service was limited, apart from meals from main menu, needs a bit more choice.

We left 2 days early to stay in another hotel
Pros:

The staff

Cons:

Restaurant food was terrible and over priced. Rooms were dark and tired. Worst hotel I’ve stayed in. It was supposed to be a 4 star hotel.
I would rate it 2 star basic hotel.

Very convenient location for Bushy parkrun.
Pros:

Lovely traditional building and style. The food was delicious with the second best hotel breakfast we have ever had. Staff were attentive.

Cons:

The floor in the bedroom dipped quite noticeably (yes it is an old building and has probably settled) but the bed was then tilted. If you get a room like this make sure the lighter of you sleeps on the raised side of the bed as it will make for a very uncomfortable night's sleep as my husband rolled more than what we thought was possible.

Ok, apart from the issues mentioned above.
Pros:

Bed was comfortable. First room had a view of a courtyard, but I was moved to a room lookin g towards the river. Breakfast room had a nice ambience and great view.

Cons:

No desk in first room and when I was moved it was small desk on the opposite side of the room - can't sit to eat room service whilst also wacthing the TV without moving the desk. And the phone kept falling off the phone base when you do move the desk. Bedside tables (baskets) impracticable. TV remote would not turn off the TV. Lack of mixer taps meant the water was either scolding or freezing. Sink sticks out a long way so you're too far away from the mirror. Shower screen small, so difficult to take a shower without flooding the floor.
Breakfast room chairs were awkward to sit in as the arms stopped you moving your elbows back when eating. Breakfast selection had mushrooms and tomatoes in the same serving tray.

Mycket bra vistelse. Blev väl omhändertagna.
Pros:

Mycket trevlig personal och smakfull inredning.
Råkade ut för en olycka och de var fantastiskt hjälpsamma.

Cons:

Ett trappsteg i en korridor som orsakade mitt fall - men mitt eget fel

Pros:

Signet Collection Hotels never disappoint! A very warm welcome with a delicious complimentary glass of wine. We arrived much later than hoped, so I opted for Room Service. Food was served beautifully and so well executed. Then, a complimentary bedtime port. Breakfast was stunning right over looking the river, and again, the food lived up to an excellent standard.. Thank you so much . We will be back

Cons:

Pillows are not to the overall standard. Its my only niggle!

A great Mitre Memory!
Pros:

Huge thanks to all the staff at The Mitre Hotel for their help in making my Big Birthday luncheon such a success, especially Jessica, Chris, Morgan and their colleagues behind the bar. Nothing was too much trouble. Superb planning, service and hospitality. And thank you to the chefs for the delicious food! My wife and I stayed over and can also wholeheartedly recommend the guestrooms which were spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. We will be back!

An excellent location with staff who know how to look after you and make you feel welcome!
Pros:

The Receptionist, Ashley, was an absolute star! She rescued my phone which I had inadvertently left in the bar and was extremely kind, helpful and hospitable. I believe she went above and beyond in her duties in welcoming me and a colleague and other people who I saw. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast room with that view made it very memorable. I like the new little touches like the cookies, the complimentary glass of wine and madeira later. My room was very quiet and I had a peaceful night's sleep!

Cons:

I would really have like to have had some biscuits in my room as I'd arrived not having had any lunch and it would have been nice to munch some with a cup of tea and relax. While the cookies in the morning is nice, I was in a hurry at check-out and didn't really have time to take advantage of them.
