Tv broken, no plug for sink, no cutlery

I think general cleaning could be improved. The carpet had a strong smell as if it had not been washed for a long time. Some of the areas like the window, switches, had dust. If anyone has a dust allergy then I wouldn't recommend it. Since this hotel is inside the CBD, expect a lot of ambient noise especially from the trams until midnight.

Dirty floors and walls. Needs a freshen up.

Everything else in the room looked like it may never have been cleaned. Very dirty windowsills, shower was not clean to the point I didnt want to use it. Dust everywhere, stuff splattered on the bathroom walls. Would not recommend

The worst experience I've ever had in a hotel: the room was dirty, the bathroom had no light and there was a dead cockroach, the blankets were dirty, and the noise from homeless people kept me awake. What an unpleasant experience! I decided to lose the money for one night and change hotels.

Place was filthy from the outside to inside and inside the rooms. Walls were dirty as. Nothing had been cleaned besides bedding. There was a wet dirty floor mat hanging up. Great location. But not hard to clean some rooms once in a while

DIRTY:- Nothing was cleaned except toilet and shower. Walls and curtains were filthy, covered in food splashes. Cupboard below microwave was covered in dust and food traces. Carpet filthy with dust around edges of walls
"Kitchenette was Microwave and little fridge only, with NO utensils or crockery...I bought my own from Coles close by.
NOISY all night with trams and delivery vehicles (Swanston Str)
Windows extremely dirty, and stuck in closed or 2nd in half open position
I was told that room would be cleaned every 2nd day but this was wrong as they never cleaned for whole 8 days.
Wash Basin tap needs maintenance as intermittent cold water flow - I did temporary fix. Good shower.

Dodgy looking entry and reception. Blanket had holes and numerous stains, was very noisy, but that comes with location. Split system leaked, windows were filthy but I understand we were on the second floor. Older furniture needs a revamp, no coffee or milk in the room

black mould in shower, tv no reception, unable to work aircon (had to unplug it when manager put it on) and was not efficient (could not adjust temp). for $200/n expected working tv and aircon. would have liked a second pillow

From the moment we checked in, we already wanted to check out. The motel was extremely dirty, poorly maintained, and unsafe, and it looked nothing like what was advertised in the photos on Booking.com. We booked a corporate room, but it did not meet even basic accommodation standards.

The issues we encountered include, but are not limited to, the following:
•Broken and damaged furniture throughout the room
•Filthy carpets, especially in the corners and along the edges of the walls, which appeared not to have been vacuumed for a long time
•Air conditioner heavily clogged with dust, indicating lack of regular cleaning
•No lighting in the living area where the couches were placed
•Broken smoke alarms, posing a serious safety concern
•No cabinets or proper storage for clothing
•Dirty refrigerator
•We did not use the cutlery, silverware, kettle, or microwave due to hygiene concerns and fear of pests
•We did not use the provided blankets, as we were concerned about possible bed bugs, and had to purchase our own blanket
•The TV was mounted unsafely, with broken brackets, and appeared at risk of falling
•Bathroom sink seals and tiles had black stains resembling mold
•The exhaust fan was filled with thick dust

Because of the condition of the room, we spent most of our days outside and only returned late at night to sleep. We were unable to stay in the room to rest or relax, even though our booking was for 7 days.
When I requested daily room cleaning the following day, the receptionist informed us that rooms are not cleaned daily and that only one cleaning was scheduled for the entire 7-day stay. Towels had to be requested each time, and this was difficult as the receptionist was often unavailable.

This accommodation was very expensive, and it felt like the property took advantage of the Australian Open event by charging tourists a high price for a substandard and unsafe room. This experience was extremely disappointing and stressful.
