quite far away from ShangHai key attractions.
The entire staff was attentive, welcoming and approachable. Translation apps were helpful....everyone always took the time and made an effort to figure out what we were asking.
3泊しました。初回、バスシンクにお湯をためようとしたら、前の宿泊者の長い髪の毛が7，8本バスシンク内に落ちていました。第2夜からはバスシンクも清掃しているように思いました。朝食バイキングにも使用されるカジュアルレストランですが、朝食時は料理も豊富で味もまぁまぁなんですが、夜に行くと料理も4，5種類しかなく、アルコール類も前近代的なメニューです。それなのに表示価格はホテル価格です。

国庆入住人比较多，前台服务还是很耐心的。最后入住的湖景房，很开心。
Overall it is a nice place with convenient access to major transportations. The hotel is quite old in particular with in unit bathroom sink drainage that I need to pull out the knob to let water flow down. This is something needs to be looked into. Breakfast buffet is fine. We stayed for just one night just for next day activity planned in the area and location is good, with free parking included.

Location was good. Crowne Plaza Shanghai Xiayang Lake hotel was near the Hongqiao airport and just beside the Xiayang Lake. Traffic was good, never too many cars you would expect in downtown areas.
However, the room I stayed at the executive floor was not impressive. Everything felt cheap and the hot water and cold water never mixed well and it was quite frustrating to take shower.
Food was too simple and you didn't have many choices.
Stayed for 3 days for a business trip. IHG properties never dissappoints you. All the basic necessities are covered. The staff knows their job. The property is away from the city center however a a mall is at a walking distance. A beautiful lake to walk and can be seen from your balcony. The room is clean and bed is comfortable to sleep. Highly recommended.
Empty in the mini bar. Strange smell on the carpet throughout the hotel. Seems never changed them since my last stay.
Offered complimentary drink as per club policy but when I tried to redeem it,the floor one restaurant seemed never prepared for that, (without any ready clean cup) except carbonates cans to offer.the female responsibility at the restaurant entry desk stopped to me really rude when I tried to grab a chair to sit down, they wouldn't even treated a beggar like that.very sad.
This hotel is everything you expect from a Crowne Plaza, well equipped rooms, stylish architecture, helpful staff and a high level of background quality.
Not wanting to be negative (perhaps informative) my only problem was that my Chinese is non-existent and many of the staff had little English. I do not expect everyone to speak English, and any questions I had were soon resolved once multi lingual staff were found; just be prepared to sometimes have to wait.
As to the good things... the rooms are comfy and well equipped for sleeping, resting or working in. The bathroom in particular was excellent. The minibar had a nice selection of snacks when needed and the bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast was an excellent meal with numerous selections available, the only trick was exploring all the possible options to select those few you could eat every day. The coffee was fresh and superb.
As I only wanted a swift bite in the evening I dined in the international restaurant, which tended to be a quiet affair as regards guest numbers, but was often graced with live music. The selection was fairly normal for such a chain hotel and of reasonable quality.
The hotel offers morning drop offs to some local destinations which I found very useful as regards visiting local businesses. It also had a robot room service which small children will love!
Across the road from the hotel is a shopping and dining area with lots of choices and a Carrefour supermarket, useful for last minute gifts.
I may have to return to the area and will stay here again, no questions asked.
Good service and location.
Great value rooms with all mod cons....A/C worked silently and the bathroom was as good as any used in China. Bidette was a nice comforting experience but start on low temperatures and adjust upwards to avoid a sting in the tail if you see what I mean. Well worth the half an hour out of central Shanghai but with Metro station just 10 minutes by taxi, and straight into Yuyuan or Xintiandi or Nangjing Toad East, you can enjoy the clean, quiet and well appointed hotel offerings. I would definitely stay here again whether for business or pleasure. The swim pool was top notch in water quality and accessories for hygiene.
The Crowne Plaza is a very clean and comfortable hotel. It is set nearby a really lovely lake which is great to walk around. The hotel is a low rise, with some rooms a reasonable walk to the reception and restaurant. Good wi fi and a range of TV channels.The buffet breakfast had a good range which was replenished regularly. It is a long way from downtown Shanghai. It was a very quiet location.
Rooms are clean and comfortable, good wi-fi. Breakfast was excellent and they have a coffee machine. This hotel is in wings so its a bit of a walk to the dining room. If you want to swim in the pool you will need a swimming cap. The lake is great for a walk and there are many eating places and a supermarket across the road. This hotel is quite a way out of the city.
Beautifully clean and comfortable rooms with bathtub. Staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was an amazing buffet of Eastern and Western foods and the coffee was amazing. There is a mini zoo out the back with goats, peacocks and pigs which was great, but the two times we went to visit there was no water visible for them to drink. Out the back of the hotel are lovely gardens fenced off from a beautiful lake with walkway all around it. Supermarket and great choice of restaurants nearby! Absolutely would stay again!!
Strategic locations and there is a plaza nearby. Breakfast is good with many selections. Near lake where you can jog in the morning.
