Great hotel in an excellent location.
Pros:

Hotel is cleverly designed within old fortress’s walls, with the arts spaces adding to its unique feel. Great location close to marina and old town. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

We liked everything about the hotel.

Die Zimmer sind wenig komfortabel. Stufen innerhalb des Zimmers. Dusche in der Badewanne ohne Haltegriffe. Teilweise von Freitag bis Sonntag extrem laute Musik bis Mitternacht.

Mediocre at best, definitely not 5 stars.
Pros:

Location is very good. They have a good idea making it a art complex/ nice hotel

Cons:

They supposedly upgraded us, but clarified we were booking.com people first and then gave us dark, musty rooms on bottom level. I would not stay there again. Very poorly planned out

Beautiful hotel in a classic location
Pros:

Beautiful breakfast restaurant with great views and an extensive choice of breakfast foods. Staff were attentive and helpful,most conversed easily in English. Quiet comfortable rooms. Easy walking distance to shopping.

Pros:

Lovely very exclusive

Cons:

Evening bar empty and no atmosphere. Also breakfast good but you need to order eggs or omelettes as soon as you walk in, it takes 10-15 min. To deliver but worth waiting.

Great hotel, will stay there again, just make sure to choose the right room type :)

It was great and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious.

Cons:

If you stay in the bottom rooms it is quite dark. The upstairs rooms are definitely better.

Great location by the harbour area, easy to walk to the town and beaches.
Spacious, clean room with beautiful linen on the beds.

Classy, arty, luxury boutique hotel set in a perfect marina location.
Pros:

Absolutely stunning as are many Pestana hotels. This one in the portfolio is exceptional. Classy, peaceful, set on the harbour amongst lovely restaurants & shops & a 5 minute gentle stroll to the gorgeous Cascais town. The best thing is that this is a large fortress now turned into a luxury hotel & also a living, breathing art installation. Add to that brilliant staff & fantastic facilities!
