A stylish hotel inside an old citadel
Pros:

A stylish hotel actually inside the old citadel with lots of very good artwork
Our room was comfortable, good sized with a balcony on the battlements overlooking the ocean
By far the best breakfast we have had in Europe overseen by the ever helpful Ana
Anyone for a morning champagne?

A unique place to stay combining history with design & modernity right on the edge of Cascais
Pros:

This is a wonderful hotel, thoughtfully designed around a unique historical concept. It offers a sensitive modern restoration within the fortress walls, overlooking the marina. The staff were fabulous without exception and they upgraded my room which was must welcome.

Super relaxante e confortável
Pros:

Localização, simpatia dos funcionários, a decoração do quarto e do hotel, a limpeza, as ofertas, o café disponível.

Cons:

Não tive nenhum ponto que não gostei e ainda assim sugeri algumas melhorias ao hotel.

Overall great stay
Pros:

Location, service and breakfast are top!

Cons:

Shower is almost totally ruined, you can not take a shower without being burned or you have to shower with cold water. I did not like that the girl from the restaurant on my last day asked to leave a review specifying her name and name of another guy. Tgat was weird. Other staff on reception were absolutely nice.

Sumptuous stay, gorgeous hotel, amazing breakfast, beautiful views, ideal location.
Pros:

Our second stay here, this time for a week. GORGEOUS breakfast. Brilliant choice of hot, cold, savoury and sweet options. Lovely latte's and even a bucks fizz! Lovely comfy room. Spacious bathroom with nice toiletries. Fresh additional towels in the evening. Great pool and had a lovely massage at the spa. Lovely gift of a small bottle of port during our stay. Just so many lovely little touches. And one of the most important things - the staff! Every single person there was helpful, welcoming, friendly and seemed to care about making sure we had a lovely stay.

Cons:

Shower gel didn't work properly - not a huge complaint for a week's stay!

The hotel is located very nicely, close to the ocean and walking path alone the shore line.
Pros:

My room was facing the ocean and marina - it was an excellent view. The bed is very comfortable, the cleaning service was excellent, the breakfast was nice. The staff was always smiling and helpful, thank you for the good memories, I definitely will return.

Cons:

The steps in the room down could be better marked, walking out of the bathroom and the steps are blending with the lower floor.
