Great stay at The St Regis Shenzhen, absolutely surpassed my expectations in terms of service standards, and the property's condition and design were great too. All your staff i met there served with a smile and dedication, which i believe is credit to the management. Have to mention also that i was really pleased that your guest loyalty manager, Crystal Lieu, reached out prior to my arrival to check on my stay preference. She was also very kind to offer a loyalty upgrade arrangement and very patient in listening to and addressing my many questions. It certainly makes me feel valued asa a Bonvoy member and helps ease the anxiety of visiting a new city, and making my stay a unforgettable experience. A true hall mark of a luxury brand, keep up the good work, and certainly look forward to staying at your property again the next time i visit Shenzhen!

You made our visit truly enjoyable. Rooms are big, clean, and comfortable, with great views from the windows. Everything felt well maintained. Breakfast was solid, and the hotel overall has a calm, polished vibe without feeling stiff.

I stayed at The St. Regis Shenzhen on March 22–23, 2026, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From arrival to departure, every interaction reflected the warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism that the St. Regis brand promises.
Arrival & Room
At check-in, the front desk team was welcoming and efficient. Without any request or expectation on my part, I was generously upgraded to the Allure Suite—a spacious, beautifully appointed room that truly elevated the stay. Despite the hotel having opened in 2011, the room was remarkably well-maintained. I noticed that the walls and ceilings appeared to have been recently repainted with exceptional care—the finish was smooth and seamless, clearly the result of a full repaint rather than touch-ups. The space felt fresh, luxurious, and thoughtfully cared for.
Butler Service
The butler service team delivered a curated experience that made the stay feel personal and special. Every interaction was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful—exactly what you hope for from a St. Regis property. I also made use of the complimentary shoe shine service, which was completed by the specified time and delivered to my room with great care, wrapped and placed neatly in a basket.
Dining at Elba Italian Restaurant
We dined at Elba on the evening of March 22. While the food was enjoyable without being extraordinary, the service rendered by a male intern was superb. Attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm—he elevated the entire dining experience.
Issue Resolution – A Masterclass in Service Recovery
On the morning of March 23, I encountered an issue with the in-room electric kettle. After filling it to its full 1.5L capacity and turning it on, the kettle continued boiling intensely for over ten minutes, producing thick steam that filled the bar area, fogged the mirror, and spread across the room. By the time I turned it off, the water level had already reduced by half.
I called the Butler Service Desk immediately, and a replacement kettle was arranged without delay. No defensiveness, no hesitation—just swift, professional action.
Later that afternoon, in a moment of my own carelessness, I got my index finger stuck while closing the bathroom sliding door. I called the Butler Service Desk again, this time to request a bucket of ice so I could dip my hand in it. Instead of simply fulfilling the request as I had phrased it, they thoughtfully prepared a bag of ice for me, explaining that it would be a more suitable option as they were concerned that a bucket of ice might be too cold for my hand to dip into directly. It was a small but telling moment—they listened, they considered my actual need, and they delivered a more thoughtful solution.
At checkout, the staff and a Guest Service Manager proactively asked about the kettle incident, acknowledging the potential safety concern and ensuring it had been properly addressed. They also inquired about our overall experience and whether we had encountered any other issues.
I mentioned that I had noticed some visible dust along the edge of the sliding bathroom door—a minor housekeeping oversight. The staff member immediately asked if he could record the video I had taken on my phone, and he sent it directly to the housekeeping team for follow-up. That level of accountability and responsiveness is rare and deeply appreciated.
The Finishing Touch
Without any request from us, the team offered a St. Regis bear plush as a courtesy gesture at checkout—a small but meaningful acknowledgment of the inconvenience with the kettle. They also addressed an enquiry I had placed very early in the morning (around 1:00 AM), ensuring that every detail of the stay was attended to.
The Bottom Line
The St. Regis Shenzhen delivered exactly what a luxury hotel should: exceptional service, genuine care, and accountability when things went wrong. The team turned a minor equipment issue into a demonstration of what great hospitality looks like, and their thoughtfulness extended even to a moment of my own clumsiness. I would not hesitate to return, and I highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a true St. Regis experience.

Pobyt w tym hotelu był absolutnie wyjątkowy. Widok z okien 100-piętrowego budynku zapiera dech w piersiach. Panorama miasta robi ogromne wrażenie zarówno w dzień, jak i w nocy.
Na duży plus zasługuje świetna, bardzo profesjonalna obsługa oraz ogromny wybór opcji śniadaniowych, dzięki czemu każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie.
To miał być tylko nocleg w trakcie przesiadki, a stał się małym świętem w podróży. Zdecydowanie polecam!

The views and the incredible breakfast, this was the most varied we have ever experienced. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Pool area was also luxurious.
A little more English speaking staff would have made it easier but all staff were extremely helpful and found a colleague if necessary. They were also careful to check they had understood requests properly. Prices of food and drink at the bar are steep but then you have views from the 96th floor. You can go to the shopping centre joined to the hotel for cheaper dining alternatives until 10pm. There is also a Starbucks in the lobby.
