What a fun experience! We were able to check in early. This is the first hotel we have ever stayed that there is a 96th floor lobby. It's a little bit of a hassle to change elevators to go down the lobby driveway. Plus you go down to get to your room.

Pros
1. Early check in.
2. Room upgrade with status.
3. REALLY comfortable beds.
4. Butler service with unlimited coffee service and cookies.
5. Great view
6. Internet is good (note you can't access a lot of the world sites).
7. Friendly service.
8. Nice gym, pool and hot tub.
9. Nice slippers
10. Next to a mall that is nice and quiet.
11. Kids stay free.

Cons
1. Expensive breakfast (didn't get to try)
2. You are required to wear a cap in the pool. They sell it for 60RMB, which is way too much for a one time use cap.

Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again! It was a great experience!

When you book you have high expectations for staying at St. Regis… this property let me down from the moment we checked in!
I was thrilled to be given an upgrade, as the highest tier with Bonvoy and staying 6 months a year for 18 years this never gets old! I love getting upgraded!!
One problem is I have new hip and the upgrade given was a suite with the bedroom upstairs. No one offers to carry my suitcase up the stairs, which might explain the notches on the stairs as I assume others dragged the suitcase up these stairs.
So I asked to be moved because of my ability to not to do stairs with my hip. They offered to give me an another suite but wanted an additional $200 USD, so the one level suite that they transferred me too smelled very very strong of smoke. The staff member refused to admit it smelled but said she would see if they could find another room. The next suite was even stronger smelling of smoke, as was the next one too. Finally the 4th suite was ok and did not smell of smoke.
The staff member refused to admit any of the rooms smelled but said it might be mild issues, but it certainly smelled like the rooms had been smoked in for a significant period of time! Again all suites.
If the smell of smoke bothers you then this might not be the ideal place to stay! If you are Ambassador Elite with Bonvoy they are not going to upgrade you to a single floor suite without asking for a fee!
While I love the St. Regis brand and love staying with them, I won’t be back here and I have a very difficult time recommending this property simply for the rooms I was shown smelled of smoke.

Great experience, start to finish

I really appreciated the service here at Saint Regis. Our butler, Eddie did a fantastic job as well as everybody on the staff at check-in. The robot brought water to our room. That was really cool. We really enjoyed the spa. They did a great massage for my wife and myself. I highly recommend coming to this location. It’s a beautiful hotel.

We had an incredible stay. And all the staff were fantastic including jimmy who gave us a room upgrade, and the chief butler whose name eludes me. Special stand out for us has to be Alice chen from the butler team who went above and beyond for us through our stay. Breakfast spread was incredible along with the st Regis champagne experience that alice arranged for us.

Beautiful hotel. Amazing views. Comfortable beds! We really enjoyed Alice, the butler. She was so kind and amazing! Great gluten-free bread available.

My husband and I visited from Hong Kong and we truly had a lovely and relaxing time.

It was really easy to get to from LoHou station in shenzhen to the hotel and as it costed us 2 yuan each travelling via the metro line.

We arrived the hotel and had a smooth check in, the staff were very friendly and helpful with assisting me as I am pregnant. They offered us complimentary tea and water upon arrival.

Although it was foggy due to the smog, we were put in a lovely room which was spacious, clean and comfortable.

We had the breakfast buffet while we stayed there and I truly enjoyed it. There were plenty of halal options and the food was absolutely delicious.

We also had dinner at the Elba Italian restaurant which was great and dinner buffet at the 95th floor which again did not fail!

My family and I will certainly come back again in the future when visiting Shenzhen.

The staff were very able to communicate in English, the hotel itself is quite unbelievable in it's design and location and the entire stay was pleasant.

A luxurious stay with a sky-high view of the city, at least on clear day!

Well situated for a trip from Hong Kong.

Nice location and beautiful rooms with great views of surrounding areas. Love the view. Great service; staff were super helpful and went beyond their duties to solve problems. Great breakfast, too. We enjoyed our stay there.
