Pros:

Very quirky, fun cozy atmosphere

Cons:

There was a horrible smell coming from the bathroom drains.
The room was quite noisy, sounded like the speakers for the music in the pub was just below us
Restaurant served tasty food but it was quite expensive and the service was very poor.

Pros:

Good price for the area.

Cons:

Room not ready on arrival. No chance of blackout as Velux window had no blind - staff stapled a blanket over it ! Further curtain ill-fitting, so room flooded with light. No desk. No bedside lamp. Speaker to garden music right outside window. Booking.com receipt said breakfast included, but only continental - cooked items additional.

We enjoyed our stay and would return but to a room with a better mattress on the bed.
Pros:

Room 3 Check in was really good and sorted very quickly. Our room was clean and a good size. Unfortunately it was let down by the bed mattress, very soft and leaned down to the left hand side of the bed causing discomfort and a bad nights sleep.
The shower was excellent and the products supplied, the towels were to die for, thank you!
Only 2 ordinary tea bags supplied, but the fresh milk and fridge was a nice bonus.
Breakfast was dissapointing, no hollandaise sauce for the 2 poached eggs and avacado served on unbuttered toast, just 1 small slice of toast, £13 each was a lot for what we got (even with a discount on the price!) We made up our with some cerial provided on the continental breakfast. Our evening meal was fresh, enjoyable and at a competitive price.

Cons:

The mattress was very poor quality and very soft to LHS causing discomfort.
Only 2 tea bags supplied.
Dissapointing small breakfast for the price we paid.

Great stay, thanks!
Pros:

Location, friendliness of staff & locals. Meal was excellent, local produce. Room large & ideal, towels sumptuous. Would be happy to return for a few more days.

Cons:

Some intermittent noise from local airbase but I was able to enjoy bird song in the garden.

Everything was so good, staff were super friendly and attentive, food was excellent including breakfast, room clean. comfortable with a great coffee machine! ☺️

Cons:

I left behind a favourite shirt, called a couple of times with no answer, emailed and left voice messages that was over a month ago and still no reply. Still had a great stay, but at least expected a reply.

Pros:

Arrived in the evening, greeted by friendly staff and shown to our room which was above the bar room 1. Very comfy clean bed.

Cons:

The next morning realised how dirty the bathroom was. We were going to a wedding that day and so had no time to deal with it. Small wardrobe no good for a long dress the door was also not attached by one hinge at top. Would be a very easy fix. The mirror also needed a clean and the bathroom door didn't close so used a wash bag to keep it pushed closed while using the toilet. Realising how dirty the bathroom was felt uncomfortable to walk around without shoes on. The room needs work for the price being charged but no room should be dirty whatever the price, unacceptable. We were there for a wedding so spent minimal time there before heading home, if we could we would have left but didn't have that option. Tried to contact twice after leaving to let them know with no response.

Pros:

Friendly welcome. Nicely decorated reception area and very comfortable bed. Very quiet at night. Good shower and toiletries. Lots of parking. We enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

Thought the food could be better. A cheesy toast starter was just cheese on toast and could do with a bit of an upgrade, for example.

Die Unterkunft war wirklich toll. Sie ist sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Der eigene Biergarten lädt dazu ein den Abend gemütlich ausklingen zu lassen.

Quiet Cotswolds pub
Pros:

Lovely quiet location not far from Burford. Outside garden seating if needed. Friendly staff, tasty food. Nice beer selection.
Bedroom comfortable with fridge and coffee maker, TV with multiple viewing options.

Cons:

The lighting in the shower room was poor when use of the mirror was required. Nothing else comes to mind
