One of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had!!
Pros:

While more expensive than I would’ve liked, the overall experience more than exceeded the price I paid. The room was outstanding!! The bed was very comfortable! The breakfast was by far and away the best experience I’ve ever had at any hotel or hostel stay; especially coupled with a clear view of the Matterhorn!! The location was good. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive to my questions. I absolutely loved the complimentary coffees that came with my stay.

Cons:

The shower was a bit complicated to operate (though not impossible).
That’s it!! This experience exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend The Antares Hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Zermatt!!

Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, gerade beim Matterhorn Express. Es ist an sich ein schönes Hotel, alte Eleganz, alles in Holz gefasst. Das Zimmer war geräumig mit einem Balkon mit Sicht zum Matterhorn. Das Spa ist sehr schön, mit einem gediegenen Ruheraum.
Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig mit frischem Obst, viel Gebäck, Fleischplatten, Cerealien und feinen Brötchen. Der Service war sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Die Nachruhe wurde leider durch eine Kaminlüftung gleich über unserem Dachfenster sehr gestört. Da ich das gleich beim Zimmerbezug feststellte, bat ich um ein anderes Zimmer. Das wurde abgelehnt obwohl das Hotel überhaupt nicht voll besetzt war.
