Mein Aufenthalt im Damas Hotel in Unterhaching war insgesamt enttäuschend – für mich trifft es am besten: mehr Schein als Sein.

Positiv hervorheben kann ich lediglich, dass das Hotel optisch ansprechend ist und die Zimmer grundlegend sauber waren. Das war jedoch auch schon das Niveau der Qualität.

Der Service ließ in vielen Bereichen zu wünschen übrig. Beim Check-out gab es immerhin einen kurzen, freundlichen Moment – ein paar Worte und ein „schönen Tag“. Das war tatsächlich das Highlight des gesamten Aufenthalts, was schon viel aussagt.

Ansonsten wirkte das Personal oft unklar strukturiert – teilweise war nicht erkennbar, wer Gast oder Mitarbeiter ist. Gleichzeitig hatte ich mehrfach den Eindruck, dass der Fokus eher auf privaten Handynutzungen lag als auf den Gästen.

Das Frühstück, das online häufig gelobt wird, konnte ich überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Die Begrüßung bestand lediglich aus „Zimmernummer?“. Kein Service, keine Atmosphäre. Die Speisen waren qualitativ schwach: Eier teilweise ungenießbar, Bacon und Würstchen nicht richtig durchgegart. Zudem jeden Tag das gleiche, sehr standardisierte Angebot ohne besondere Qualität.

Hinzu kamen organisatorische Schwächen: uneinheitliche Angaben zu Zeiten sowie eine Baustellensituation auf den Fluren, die das Gesamtbild zusätzlich gestört hat.

Der Wellnessbereich wird aus meiner Sicht seinem Ruf nicht gerecht. Statt Entspannung herrscht eher Verwirrung: Ein Whirlpool mit Münzeinwurf (2 €), während das Personal unterschiedliche und widersprüchliche Aussagen dazu macht – von „kostenlos“ bis „kostenpflichtig, aber unklar wie viel“. Das wirkt unprofessionell und wenig durchdacht.

Insgesamt fehlt es dem Hotel an echter Servicequalität, Klarheit und einem stimmigen Gesamtkonzept. Ich kann die vielen positiven Bewertungen daher nicht nachvollziehen und würde das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen.

Pros:

Hotel looks recently renovated.
Great location, in a quiet town next to the Autobahn.
Free parking outside and also in the underground garage.
Nice clean and warm room. Heating works perfectly via adjustable radiators.
Comfortable bed.
Room 113 was super quiet.
