Great find for our weekend
Pros:

Perfect location for trips to Exeter. Staff were brilliant and the food is excellent. Rooms are spacious and well kitted out

Cons:

Could have used some parking and it could have been cheaper but can't have it all.

Lovely beer garden in a central location shame about the breakfast cook!
Pros:

Lovely beer garden and nice guy on the bar. Good central location but very noisy.

Cons:

Dated room and a poor shower but we were only there for a night so not massive deal. Overall had a nice stay but dampened by the very rude “chef” who was very upset that we were vegan and had the audacity to order a veggie breakfast without the egg! Lovely waitress who we ordered with really did try but he was having none of it. Rude and ignorant unfortunately.

Great accommodation 5 mins walk from the centre
Pros:

Fabulous decor, clean. Great size bed, honesty hamper in case we got hungry and didn’t then need to hunt down a shop! Thought of everything.

Cons:

Shower was very difficult to get the right temperature between scalding and freezing. Instructions would have been handy if I was missing something

A convenient location and good value for money. Staff were very helpful. Comfortable rooms.
Pros:

Comfortable beds. Modern bathroom. Well stocked minibar.

Cons:

The sink was cracked where the tap was fixed in. Bedside cabinets appeared old.

Fantastic stay and breakfast. Perfect location and very friendly and helpful staff.
Pros:

Fantastic stay! Room was very clean and comfortable with a good matress and pillows. Nespresso machine in the room was great for very early mornings. Superb breakfast (check out their menu online). Lovely staff and having the pub downstairs created a community feel. Location can't be beat right in the centre and everything is walking distance.

Cons:

Since it's an older building, there's no heat in the bathroom (just heated towel rods) so that was really cold. I think they should provide hotel slippers in each room.

Pros:

The hotel is absolutely lovely. Fabulous food for dinner & breakfast. All staff were lovely, great customer service. Room was lovely, very comfortable bed. Very much enjoyed our stay. We will be back.

Brilliant. Highly recommend. Staff and hotel are tremendous.
Pros:

Everything. The room was clean. The bathroom was excellent. The bed and surroundings in the room were comfortable. They took great care in advance to ensure that your stay was comfortable. Beautiful stay. I have stayed here before and will continue to do so. All staff are lovely and caring. Breakfast was great.

Cons:

The only small issue is that there is a plumbing noise whenever the toilet is flushed. This is, however, a minor issue.

Conveniently located nice pub with pleasant rooms.
Pros:

Good value for money and always nice rooms. Very accommodating with my dogs. Nice pub too

Cons:

Parking isn’t easy. Room at top of hotel up multiple flights of stairs. Rooms can be very hot.
