Very clean
Family run feeling very pleasant team
We loved it
Small rooms but very clean
No elevator but not a problem
Great location
Lovely air conditioned room. Very clean. The room was a good size. The bed was big and very comfortable.
Super helpful staff, good food, great garden space and very comfortable bed.
Lots of narrow stairs to take luggage up but that’s because it’s a heritage building, which was lovely.
A good size room
Comfortable bed
Nice big bathroom with a good shower
The information provided by the hotel said parking was at the Harlequin car park - which we found out has been closed for a long time
When we arrived we were told the kitchen was having planned maintenance and so there would be no breakfast the next morning - altho a refund was given there were no apologies and no advance notification provided
The air conditioning unit kept making a loud buzzing noise every 30 seconds all through the night and it even continued when the AC was switched off ??? I was told that this always happens each year when it gets hot !!!!!
The TV didn't work even after the batteries were changed in the remote control
TBF - when the I asked for a refund because of the AC noise and TV problems this was given straight away - so thank you for that
Room and air con were fab. We didn't eat there but had a few drinks. Nice atmo :-)
Pricing was high considering it was a room above a pub with no extra facilities like a gym etc. But we did stay during Exeter Uni Graduation day/s so they were probably making the most of this!!?
Yummy scrambled egg! Warm croissant! Cool air con and mini fridge so good in this heatwave !
Wonderful place and we would love to stay again. They have air conditioning which was God-send after a very hot trip across England.
modern. aircon, comfy bed. great beer garden. breakfast was ok
tv complicated. could be cleaner (cumulated dust on pictures, door frames, bathroom mirror. no parking.
Perfect location inbetween St Davids station and city centre. Lovely decor, comfy beds, friendly staff, great beer garden and delicious breakfast.
I was clean and comfortable
Very convenient for our visit
Decor was bit quirky which I really liked
Nothing we really disliked
All good, really enjoyed our stay.
Nothing negative.
Stayed a few times - always consistently good with some nice touches.
Nothing
Comfortable room and delicious breakfast
Only thing I didn't like was climbing stairs to third floor.
The Sunday lunch we had there was fantastic and the staff were great.
Amazing staff, great location and lovely clean rooms
