We came for a wake and it was lovely from start to finish. Food was amazing and everybody made a point of telling us so.

Had to send the evening meal back as it tasted bad.
The breakfast was ok but the bacon was virtually see through and not good quality.
Scrambled eggs were sloppy with no substance.

uitermate vriendelijke medewerkers - ontbijt service was uitstekend voor mensen die niet van een Engels ontbijt houden. Als je iets wilde hebben werd dat voor je gemaakt geen probleem en geen extra kosten. de kamers zijn ruim - comfortabel en schoon hoewel wij het matras veel te hard vonden Goede parkeer gelegenheid op het eigen terrein. Wij komen zeker terug omdat we eindelijk een goed hotel hebben gevonden in de nabijheid van onze dochter.

Exceptional stay - great service and great staff.
Pros:

Welcome at reception was warm, friendly and helpful, the staff in bar and at breakfast exceptionally friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was a great choice of cold and pastries and hot plates were fresh, good quality and just really tasty - even provided a complete GF full English for coeliac member of family. Welcomed grand children warmly and plenty for them to choose from at breakfast.
Rooms really comfy, spacious, clean, fully stocked with complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits plus sweet treats to purchase too. A great nights sleep. Easy parking and especially handy for a wedding we attended at The Grange - just a 5/10 min walk away.

Dissapointing for what we paid

Room was dusty /some electric not working/ food area smells of a damp mop and food was not good
Staff was rude when asking for service .. food stood for ages on hot plate as only one girl on floor
