Friendly staff, but serious access issues and poor management response marred our stay
Pros:

The room was lovely overall. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning. Although the hotel provided a desk fan, it was unfortunately not enough to keep the room comfortable during the scorching nighttime temperatures.

Cons:

Unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by a serious issue with the hotel's key card system. We were locked out of both the hotel and our room for over two hours during the early hours of the morning, and despite following the emergency contact instructions provided, we were unable to get any assistance until a security officer eventually managed to contact the duty manager. This occurred during our son's wedding weekend, causing significant stress and disruption to what should have been a special family occasion.

While the hotel waived the cost of the 4 bottles of water we consumed and offered a discount of 50% off the first night of any future stay, we did not feel this adequately reflected the seriousness of the situation. We were also disappointed that management failed to meet with us as promised before checkout or contact us afterwards to discuss the matter.

On a positive note, Franziska was exceptional throughout. She was warm, professional, and genuinely caring, taking the time to apologise personally and assist wherever possible. She is a real credit to the hotel, and her excellent customer service was the one bright spot in an otherwise disappointing experience.

Despite the issue with the shower, we enjoyed our short stay and would come back again

Shower head needed to be repaired / replaced
Difficult to keep the water from the shower not getting the bathroom wet
A door on the shower would have helped

My go to hotel when I fly to Munich.
Pros:

Convenient location, friendly staff, comfortable room, very good breakfast, nice hotel ambience, short walk to bus/train station, short bus ride from Munich airport. Freising is a very nice small town.

Cons:

I was there in the heat wave and air-conditioning would have been welcome.

An excellent hotel. My second stay. Very convenient for bus or train to Munich airport.

Very warm for summer
Pros:

The staff was very polite.
Breakfast was in a super nice small inner garden.
Location was excellent.

Cons:

No mini bar in the room. It was 34-36oC outside and there was not AC. The room was very warm. The weather of course was unexpectedly high for this summer but still the room was sauna. Outside the window it was full of spiders. If you opened the window the room was occupied by insects in 2 min. Generally bad choice for a hot summer period. But possibly good for winter.
