Amed Cafe & Hotel Kebun Wayan

This is not at all a takeaway from the hotel, but there are a lot of stairs and it is pretty much impossible to avoid them. The staff will help you with your bags so you don’t need to do any heavy lifting. If that’s something that doesn’t work for you, consider other hotels.

Perfect hotel that’s right on Amed Beach. Temper your expectations for luxury because it is a quiet little fishing town and pretty much the only thing to do there is snorkel and scuba dive that doesn’t take away from the facilities at all, but don’t expect a Marriott. Absolutely beautiful property with multiple pools and stunning views. Staff will bend over backwards to make sure your stay is comfortable. The spa on site is amazing, we got a couple’s massage and honestly, it was the best massage I’ve ever had for a fraction of the price that you will get at home. Restaurant has very good food, and there are countless little cafés and restaurants you can walk to along the street. Have cash on hand if you venture out of the hotel for food. ATMs are known to be unreliable in Amed so make sure you stock up before you arrive. I didn’t have any problems with them, but I’ve read that other people have. If you do use an ATM in the area make sure you use one that is inside one of the convenience stores and not a freestanding one, as those will possibly skim your card.

Koffie, thee, water. Heerlijk ontbijtbuffet op het strand, goede service. Elke dag schoonmaak, schone handdoeken.

Room was beautiful - de luxe room. Great views and comfortable stay. Highly recommend.

Staff amazing & so friendly. Loved our Superior Beach Room fo 3 nights, above the cafe was so convenient. Food & drinks options very good & tasty. Very good value too. Right on the beach where we enjoyed fabulous snorkeling. So much to see & do in Amed & we will definitely be back & book the same room

Trevlig personal och rätt bra utbud vid frukosten. Stort plus med gratis solbäddar på stranden. Två fina pooler med loungeområden. Möjlighet att förvara baggage efter utcheckning.

Jag valde deras mest basic rum för en natt, och jag skulle inte bo där igen. Det luktade knepigt från badrummet och det var nog svartmögel. Smutsigt handfat, dusch mitt i badrummet så det inte gick att tvätta händerna eller gå på toa utan att bli blöt om fötterna om en duschat. Jag tror det läckte från toaletten när jag spolade också. Det fanns tvål dispenser men ingen tvål i.

Plus: Sängkläderna var rena och fungerande AC. Det fanns filtrerat vatten på rummet & minikyl.
Minus: Ytterdörren glappade, så när en stängde var det en stor springa. Hade någon velat ta sig in hade det inte varit några problem att sparka upp dörren även om den var låst. Fanns heller ingen safety box och badrummet var i riktigt dåligt skick.

Summa summarum finns det säkert bättre rum att bo i, och personalen var väldigt trevlig - även i restaurangen. Bor jag där igen väljer jag ett annat rum med högre standard.

I was recovering from a difficult time in my life and because it's off season the staff weren't too busy, so I talked to them lots and they became like family, a nephew, and auntie, and I felt so cared for and looked after at a time I really needed it. On Ogo ogo day I actually ended up in town with no money cos all the ATM's were closed, and really hungry, and Sunariyani spotted me just like your auntie would and bought me some bananas just to tide me over, just like a real auntie. The staff have that compassionate warm Bali heart, and they'll become real friends for life if that's what you want. I had deep talks with Buddhi, one of the receptionists about life the universe and everything. It was really so much more!

À fuir. Rien à voir avec la chambre réservée. Des draps humides , chambre moisi, obligé de dormir sur la terrasse. La salle de bain idem .

A convienent hotel with two pools but most of all excellent beach and snorkelling access. It has the best spot on the beach for snorkelling! Breakfast is average but spring rolls as a snack from the menu is a recommendation. For lunch/dinner go to Rimba cafe.

Loved it and great staff and garden with two pools and bar, restaurant on property and actoss the street at the beach

The staff here is so friendly, the grounds are lovely and the location is great. It seems some rooms are nicer than others. We wound up switching rooms, which the staff accommodated with no problems at all. The spa is excellent. We rented our snorkel gear with the staff. They even booked a boat tour for us; which was amazing.
