Nos encantó que está a 5 mins caminando a la base de Cerro Catedral, muy segura y las habitaciones super térmicas en invierno. La comida al cuarto delicioso. Todo excelente!

First off, this is not ski in/ski out hotel, but it is about 1km from the base of Cerro Catedral. They have a unique service of bringing breakfast to your room at a time you pick. Breakfast was very good with eggs, pastries, spreads, and drinks. This was super nice and appreciate getting eggs that have not been sitting in a buffet for who knows how long. Our room had a full kitchen that was stocked with essentials for cooking. Room was clean and comfortable. The owner of this hotel built a large telescope (about 12-inch diameter ) for astronomy viewings, and the front desk arranged for a guided star gazing experience. This led to the inclusion of "Galileo" in the hotel name. We loved our time there and would stay there again.

The employees went above and beyond for my stay and it was literally a 5 - 10 min walk to the ski ticket counter at Cerro Catedral.

Jacuzzi tub worked great the and the daily breakfast with coffee and fresh juice was always a nice way to wake up. You set the drop off time!

Not to mention worked class skiing where Patagonia meets the Andes. I’ll be back for sure! La Base for rentals!!

The hotel was a great proximity to the ski resort, about a 5-10 minute walk. Im so glad we ended up staying walking distance to the mountain because traffic leaving the mountain from around 4-6 pm is a nightmare. The staff was accommodating, friendly, and helpful for any questions we had. Breakfast was delivered to the room every morning which consisted of coffee, juice, an assortment of pastries and spreads along with meats, cheeses, and eggs upon request. The rooms were clean and made up daily. They provide wood and matches for you to light a fire each night, as well as a jacuzzi tub. Some cons were the room is a bit dated and lacked outlets. Something I always see in more modern rooms are a usb to charge phones next to the bed on the nightstands or in the lamps, which is especially helpful if you are not from the country. This room lacked that so we had to charge our phones and devices away from the bed over night and share an adapter. The bathroom is also lacking counter space. The sink takes up the entire counter, so there is no room to put anything on the counter while getting ready. Finally, the water pressure is extremely temperamental, you have to have it exact to have comfortable water temperature. But what really knocked this visit out of the water was the observatory they have at the top of the hotel. They have an astronomer come to the hotel every couple days to do a 30 minute tour looking at the constellations. We ended up getting an hour time slot looking at all the stars and moon/ which is included in your stay. It was such a cool experience!

The location was convenient for our trip. The apartments comfortable with everything we needed.

Very close to Catedral ski resort, nice, newish, comfortable, well-maintained. Great to have a small kitchenette with the basics. Gorgeous mountain scenery. Typically iffy wifi. Generally quiet but at moments, I could hear the people next door through the wall very clearly. Nice breakfast delivered to the room.

We chose a room with a jacuzzi and a fireplace and had the most relaxing holiday. The location was great as it was close to Cerro Cathedral, and was easy to go anywhere from there (we rent a car to explore the Patagonia area).

Let's put this review in perspective:
We were a group of 4 who planned a ski trip to Cerro Catedral on relatively short notice (about 2 months). By the time we made reservations there were very few choices available in Cerro Catedral. WE ended up reserving a 4 bedroom apt that was way too big for us and way too expensive because it was the only thing available at this hotel.
So, the apt was very spacious and comfy. It had all the amenities you may need, except for Wi-fi which was terrible and apparently that is the normal at Cerro Catedral. We had several issues with the apt, but, after reporting the issues, they were corrected very quickly. The staff here was very friendly and accommodating. Because of the staff and the kitchen I gave them 4 stars instead of 3. They have a restaurant on site for in-room dining only. We were surprised that a small hotel like this had a kitchen for their gusts. And it turned out to be a really good kitchen. All the meals that we ordered were very good.
Plus:
Location. If you are debating whether to stay at the village or down the mountain, don't debate anymore. Staying at the village is a huge advantage. Traffic into and out of the resort can be really bad.

The rooms are a little outdated and in need of renovations.
The biggest minus for us was the price. We ended up paying $1,100 per night for our apt. You may want to argue that for a 4 bedroom apt at a ski resort this is actually cheap, but we found the price way too high for Argentinian standards.

More than anything the staff at Galileo were unbelievable. We seemed to be constantly asking for help or advice with one thing or another and they always delivered.

I stayed for 5 nights with friends and family. The location is a very easy walk to the center of the village. For only a few pesos we left our skis etc at Nestor Ski each day right by the chairlift so we didn't feel the need to be as close as possible to the center.

Our room had everything we needed to be comfortable. The staff were very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and other activities. They organized transportation for our big group whenever needed.

We loved our time in Cerro Catedral and hope to return and stay at Galileo once again. Thank you!

The room was spacious and very nice, had a eat in Kitchen, two sleeper sofas, a kind bed and luxurious bathroom with a jetted tub. The staff was very nice and spoke English. Cerro Catedral Ski Resort is only like a 5-10 minute walk away. The Skiing and snowboarding there was world class and did not disappoint. The only thing was that my room was a little hot at night and there was no thermostat to turn the temperature down. Besides that I have no complaints, I would definitely stay there again!

Unglaublich nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Die Führung in der Sternwarte war ein einmaliges und wunderschönes Erlebnis. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und entsprach den Erwartungen. Der Whirlpool im Wohnzimmer ist ein nettes Feature. Die Küche könnte einen größeren Topf vertragen. Das Frühstück war für argentinische Verhältnisse sehr gut. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Great staff that also speak English and can help you navigate the area, good food with its own intimate restaurant, clean well appointed rooms, good location for the snow. The planetarium that is part of the hotel really was one of the highlights of my stay in Bariloche, would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Hotel pequeno , tipo apart hotel, localizacao fantastica. Pessoal de atendimento muito cortes, so acho que o tipo de aquecimento e pouco para nos , brasileiros. Passamos um pouco de frio no quarto , noite adentro.
