Les chambre un pas trop propre salle de bain rempli pas très propre baignoire remplie de calcaire l’ascenseur qui beug qui met du temps à monter les plafond visser dévisser ce qui n’ assure pas la sécurité de ma famille et moi la lumière de la chambre qui clignote sans arrêt
L’emplacement est vraiment top, restaurants à côté, en plein centre ville on a accès à tout! Et le quartier est agréable.

Nothing except the building.
I’m a frequent traveller with over 500 hotel nights in the past 10 years, and I can confidently say that Ako Suites was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. To be fair, I’ll review the property and management separately.
The Property: The location is excellent, right in the city centre, within walking distance of downtown and surrounded by restaurants, cafés and supermarkets. The building is modern, new and cozy, and only 1.5 km from Gràcia Street and its shopping brands. Facilities are fair, although the rooftop pool is extremely small and can accommodate around six people. The biggest issue for me was the bathroom, which has a transparent glass design offering very little privacy. Also, only one day’s coffee beans are provided; after that, guests have to buy their own.
Management: We booked two kitchen suites with sofa beds through Booking.com because we were travelling with children and needed the sofa beds. The first suite checked in smoothly, including the children. Two days later, when checking into the second suite, the receptionist lady demanded £50 per child per night, despite their children policy clearly stating that children of any age are welcome and are only charged as adults from 18. Her response was simply that it was Booking.com’s issue, not theirs. She even said that although the room do have a sofa bed, wr have to pay before using it!!!
After a 9-hour flight with tired children, we asked to check in and resolve the issue the next morning, but she refused, saying, “My job here is to make people pay more money.” Her manager was equally unhelpful and unprofessional, telling us, “This is what we have; do whatever you want or you can find another property”!!
After spending three hours at reception, Booking.com confirmed by email that the hotel was wrong and had to honour its published policies. We then discovered the real issue: the suite we had booked was unavailable because it had been given to another guest.

Avrei preferito più stoviglie nel cucinino (erano più per un soggiorno da 2 persone che da 4 come eravamo noi), il fatto che la colazione fosse alla carta servita in camera (speravo ci fosse una sala con buffet)
