A friendly well run hotel. Excellent food and good entertainment. Great location with easy stroll to Maspalomas beach.
Pros:

Very well run hotel, very clean, friendly staff and comfortable rooms with plenty of storage and hanging space. We loved the Rui party! Shows were also good. Live music by the adults pool in the afternoon was also really nice. Choice of food was exceptional. Courtesy shower rooms were the best I’ve come across.

Cons:

Not allowed to play catch with a small ball in either of the 2 main pools, Told to play in the small pool which was impossible as the ball kept getting thrown out disturbing sunbathers due to tiny pool area to play. Booked the hotel as the hotel listed a tennis court but we never found a tennis court. Babies and children in the adults area at times and staff didn’t deal with this, better signage needed for adult areas. Would have liked to dance after the evening show. on the nights where there was a live singer the music was low key and quite a contrast to the party night.

Mukavin hotelli jossa olen käynyt, todellinen All inclusive hotelli ja lomalaisen paratiisi puutarhan ja hyvien uima-altaiden kanssa. Runsaat buffet ruokailut, sopii todella hyvin lapsiperheille mutta myös vanhemmille aikuisille, erinomainen henkilöstön ja asiakkaiden yhteishenki. Upea huone omalla uima-altaalla oli loistava lisä ilman lapsia matkustavalle!

Great hotel with lots to do and fab pools
Pros:

Hotel is right on the seafront with great views and direct access to the front which leads to more bars and shops. The hotel has lots of facilities and great pools. Entertainment and staff in general were very nice and accommodating. Nice cocktails which were quickly produced.

Cons:

Food was a bit hit or miss, things like a burger were not using the best quality meat but they are trading quantity for quality. The bathroom was clean when we arrived but after we came back to the room after several hours there were flies all over. They didn't come back after the first night so just needed to be taken of initially.

Arbitrarily cancelled confirmed reservations because of the hotel’s typographical mistake
Pros:

The Hotel Rui Gran Canaria abruptly and without my authorization or consent cancelled four confirmed room reservations for December 2026. The ostensible reason for the cancelation was that when the hotel’s reservation service made the reservations they misspelled my given name — “Randell” instead of the correct “Randall”. It was entirely the hotel’s mistake, not mine. Nevertheless, the hotel said that (1) I would not be permitted to check in if the name on the reservation did not exactly match the name on my passport and (2) the only way to correct their mistake was to cancel the reservations and rebook them. I told them that I did not want to cancel without assurances that those charges would be fully refunded and the rebooking could be on the same terms. Nevertheless, the hotel arbitrarily cancelled my confirmed reservations. When I they contacted them, they told me that rebooking the same reservations would now cost twice as much as the original reservations, and the originally reserved rooms with two double beds were no longer available. Although Rui is a reputable company that I trusted to act reasonably when it discovered its own mistake, they have taken no responsibility and have left me with no hotel reservations in a busy holiday season. The hotel should have reinstated the reservations that it arbitrarily cancelled.

Sok nagy medence, egész nap programok, vízi vetélkedők. Óriási választékú reggeli, ebéd és vacsora. A szálloda elhelyezkedés remek, a szálloda és az óceán között sétány.

Cons:

A szobák már nem 4*-osak, inkább 3*! Rájuk férne egy felújítás!
