Quiet and cosy, an ideal base for our walk to Mt Kosciusko

Location. Cosy. Economical.

Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open for business during our stay.

Awesome lodge with a great atmosphere.
Pros:

Staff were excellent, very welcoming and shared their knowledge of both Threadbo and other places to travel. The bar is amazing, highly recommend everyone checks it out and grabs a beer and some pretzels.

Cons:

The floor was a little creaky so couldn't sneak back in late at night.

Great spot with live music in the bar on Sunday afternoons. Very comfortable bed and clean and tidy room.

Pros:

We liked everything - huge clean rooms, friendly and accommodating staff, great location, parking drop-off was good, breakfast was good, secure bike storage.

A comfortable, cosy stay in the heart of Thredbo.
Pros:

This is a property which has retained its traditional mountain charm. The room was comfortable with views over the mountains and located just above the village shops and pub. It also has a lovely deck to enjoy that happy hour drink from the bar, which stocks a range of German beers. Breakfast was included, and dinner was delicious. All staff were attentive and friendly.

Location was fantastic. Staff weren't very 'intuitive' but were responsive when sourced out and asked questions directly.

Pros:

Loved the European style that is well suited for this climate. Didn’t ever use the heater much, amazing view of the mountain waking up to see snow. The staff goes out their way to make us feel welcomed n home. Thank you. Will be back.
