A great budget option offering excellent value for money.
Pros:

I loved the 20 minute walk down the Mincio River into town, the location was perfect for me. I'm glad I decided to pay the extra for a river view, it was worth every penny to wake up to the mountains beyond Lake Garda. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The building and rooms are dated, but everything was very clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed using the Spa, and was fortunate to have it to myself for the 90 minutes I booked for €20!).
Overall, I had a great stay at Rivus and would happily recommend it as a budget friendly option. I'd gladly stay again if I returned to Pescheira.

Cons:

Breakfast was ok, but could have had more variety. It was fine for my 3 day stay but any longer would have been too repetitive. The website refers to cooked and pickled vegetables on the breakfast menu. As a vegetarian, I was looking forward to these but they were nowhere to be seen. The fruit was nice, but the same every day. A good selection of pastries. I didn't have dinner in the restaurant.

Colazione eccellente, bella vista sul fiume Mincio, posizione ottimale con parcheggio in hotel, Peschiera centro raggiungibile in 15' a piedi lungo il fiume.

Cons:

Hotel vecchio da ristrutturare, poco pulita la camera, il bagno e ancor meno le terrazze, nonostante la vasca era impossibile fare il bagno perchè il tappo non si chiudeva. Piccola SPA utilizzabile a pagamento per 90 minuti. Purtroppo siamo arivate con un giorno di ritardo per motivi di salute e non abbiamo avuto alcun riconoscimento.

Autobahnlärm verhindert ruhigen Schlaf

Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotelzimmer war sauber und gepflegt. Das Zentrum ist in 15 Minuten entlang Porta Brescia gut zu Fuss erreichbar.

Cons:

Die Lage des Hotels ist leider denkbar ungünstig, da es direkt an der Autobahn liegt. Es war durchgehend sehr laut und dadurch extrem unangenehm zu schlafen. An eine erholsame Nacht oder Entspannung war überhaupt nicht zu denken. Für Personen mit leichtem Schlaf definitiv nicht zu empfehlen.

Struttura valida e strategica!
Pros:

Accoglienza eccellente fin dall'arrivo nella hall. Molto comodo il check-in fino alle 23:00, che permette di organizzare la giornata in totale libertà. La posizione è perfetta, vicinissima sia al centro di Peschiera che a Gardaland. Ottimo anche il parcheggio privato e molto apprezzate le camere spaziose, dotate di un ampio balcone.

Cons:

Dalla colazione ci aspettavamo qualcosa in più viste le recensioni: il buffet veniva rifornito con porzioni ridotte e a rilento rispetto al numero di ospiti presenti. I bagni hanno uno stile un po’ datato e beneficerebbero di un restyling, a partire da dotazioni come il phon. Infine, la vera pecca della camera: nonostante avessimo richiesto un letto matrimoniale, ci sono stati assegnati due materassi singoli accostati, con il fastidioso solco nel mezzo.

nichts, das Hotel liegt direkt neben einer viel Befahrenen Bundesstraße. Ein Zimmerwechsel auf die Rückseite war möglich aber wurde uns mit 20€/ Nacht berechnet. Das zuviel entrichtete Geld wurde von der Rezeption einbehalten und wir sollten beim Checkout die Kurtaxe erneut bezahlen. Im Nachgang kam weder eine Entschuldigung noch irgendwas ausser ein nachträglicher Beleg für die Kosten. Auf der Homepage und auf Booking wurde nicht informiert ob es unterschiedliche Zimmerkategorien gibt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr überschaubar, wurde auch nicht nachgefüllt. gegen 9:00Uhr war kaum noch was da. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer ging auch nicht. Das Badezimmer war eher abgewohnt und schmutzig, Toilettendeckel war gebrochen.

Das Frühstück war super und das Zimmer schön. Bequeme Betten.

Cons:

Wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Hof, das bedeutet an einer stark befahrenen Zufahrtsstrasse und in der Nähe der Autobahn. Trotz der lauten Geräusche konnte man in den bequemen Betten sehr gut schlafen. Die andere Seite zum See wäre bestimmt besser gewesen.
