It was clean, neat and orderly

When we checked in the attitude of the man checking us in was very poor,condescending and irritable.
We had issues with the booking and very rude he demanded my phone and emails for confirmation.....
We never received any information and had to ask him twice on what floor our room was, no vouchers for the next mornings breakfast that we paid for.
Mind blowing how he still has a job there.
Thought I was reserving room with Holiday Inn Saskatoon Downtown by IHG for over 3 months in advance. I check bank account in morning and full amount charged.
Front desk not helpful - "You prepaid full amount and if you cancel, you forfeit the total amount" in a calm robotic voice....no I didn't. I reserved on your website online as with any hotel....So, you have to pay in full before you even stay at this hotel and you cannot cancel or you lose entire amount including taxes?!!! Ridiculous. Hoping to speak to manager or reasonable person on Monday otherwise guess I'm stuck but they will certainly hear about this in person. A retired person on limited funding cannot pay full hotel bill prior to staying before I receive travel claims from other contracts (side hustles).
The room was cozy
The pool and hot tub were out of order.
The lighting was pretty janky
Never got my damage deposit back despite being incredible respectful to the property

Uncomfortable beds and staff who would rather avoid eye contact and pretend to be busy than actually assist customers, whilst front staff less than helpful and openly couldn’t care about client satisfaction.
