A comfortable room

Pros:

The King room we were shown was not very good at all. Very small and cramped, looked out on parking area. Talked with Joe at front desk and he said that since we booked through a third party with no view this was it. I asked if we could upgrade and he was so very accommodating. He was able to put us in a 2 bed queen room, with balcony and view of the ocean. This is what we were expecting when looking at pictures online at booking.

Cons:

Once in our new room, everything was great. The room could have a bit better lighting by the desk and chair.

Pros:

The spacious tub, the view, the balcony, the beach just steps away, rental bikes, downtown and beaches were all in close proximity, steps away from the pudding creek tressel and the privacy.

Cons:

Would've been nice if they offered a complimentary breakfast, the electrical outlets were old and loose, the parking was a little tight.

The odor in the room prevented us from enjoying this hotel.

Ocean front room

Cons:

Whatever they use to clean the room smells like a nursing home. The smell is overpowering and very unpleasant. I’m not sure if it was just our room or the entire hotel. Also, my husband stepped on something in the room, and discovered it was a gummy candy.

Excellent Location, Clean Rooms, Road Noise on East Side Not Great. View on West Amazing
Pros:

Overall this motel was good. Location was excellent as it is almost on the beach and looks out over the Pacific Ocean. Each room is in a mini house style building, consisting of three downstairs rooms and 2 or 3 upstairs rooms. Atmosphere is beachy. Toilet and tub room was small but clean and welcoming. Dimensions were about 5 1/2 feet by the length of a bath tub. Sink and mirror were together in a different space so could be used while someone else was in the shower or using the toilet.
We booked 1 day before our stay so most of the rooms were already occupied, so we got the least desirable room. Our room (room 601) was 30 feet from Pacific Coast Hywy. The road noise was fairly constant until 10 pm and then started up again around 6 am. Also, we were in a building that is pet friendly so we heard some whining dogs but only a couple of times. Book early and try to get a room facing the beach. This will give you a fantastic view, avoid road noise and, if you want, a non-dog building.
The motel does not offer a breakfast however Fort Bragg has many good restaurants close by.

I loved it and I will be back if I'm ever in the area again.
Pros:

The view was great. The room was clean and neat. The location was perfect for quiet, yet easily accessible. I wish I'd had more nights at this hotel on my itinerary.

Pros:

They had a fan! So then at night and in the morning I didn't have to hear every neighbor and everyyhing they were doing in their room.
I loved the acess to the beach and view

We loved our Stay
Pros:

The add said "ocean view" and spa in room.the sunset was amazing and the Tub in the room, we could have been taking a soak while watching the sunset however we went into town and brought dinner back.

Cons:

If I had to do it again I would have stayed 2 nights! It was great

I highly recommend the property, and this is def my top place to stay at in Fort Bragg.
Pros:

Very cute and cozy with amazing location. We were able to see the sunset from our room which was quite incredible!

Great views and access to walking path
Pros:

Great access to the walking trail and view of the ocean.

Cons:

Advertised as beach access but it is difficult access to beach as all were narrow trails down steep cliffs. Risky for older folks like me.
