The stuff is adorable, the ocean view from the terrace is amazing and they serve yet simple but so so nice food! Great recommendation!

My wife and I loved this hotel! Tremendous staff, especially the lady from the Czech Republic on reception. She was superb and exhibited outstanding customer service at all times. The location was first rate, with stunning views across the bay. Being wildlife fans we loved watching the birds from the balcony: alpine, pallid and common swifts, hoopoes, audouins gulls, kestrels, booted eagles and even Egyptian vulture all present, and we loved hearing the sonar call of the scops owls at dusk. There is a wonderful walk at the base of the gorge and if you look in the ponds you'll see european pond terrapins, exotic red sliders and, if you are lucky, stripeless tree frogs! There are also Hermann's tortoises and wall lizards in the vicinity. So, perfect for those who love connecting with nature! Very quiet rooms and a peaceful atmosphere all round. Very good location for both the beach, local walks and the restaurants and bars in town. A tip at breakfast (which is an excellent continental selection): They have eggs available the way you like them, but you may need to ask a staff member as they are not out on display :)
