Holiday Inn Express & Suites Belle Vernon by IHG

Very nice place. Girls at the front desk were awesome.

Ac shook the furnishings in the room, key cards required undated at least once a day to get in, no shower curtain for 2 days, no service at all and had to ask for towels. Lot of people hanging around in the parking lot at night partying and in and out of vehicles. Left a day early and never given any paperwork or email upon checkout....a day early.

Pool not working, smelled like Marijuana in the halls, had to ask for room to be serviced so I could get fresh towels. The young lady that was making the breakfast was fantastic.

When we arrived, we went to our room and another guest was already checked in. Turns out all rooms were either booked or not cleaned. We had to find another hotel for the night. Not happy at all with the experience.

The staff was rude and there was no communication. We dealt with Katlyn and she was phenomenal. The manager was also rude. She called me the day of our stay and informed me that the room we had booked for 1.5 months was no longer available to us due to the volleyball team coming to stay. We had the room booked for my sisters wedding. So after that we couldn’t fit the amount of people in our room that was originally to stay. We booked the conference room in person and when I asked about it they told me they had nothing written down. We also were told by multiple staff that we could use the breakfast buffet. The morning we were to use the conference room. The staff was super rude in the morning and refused to let us eat the breakfast. There was mold coming out of the vents and on the curtains. I will NEVER stay or recommend this hotel to anyone.

This Holiday Inn was typical for this type of accommodations and was fine--I would stay again.
My complaint is the key cards stopped working after several hours. I checked in on day one at end of the day. The next two nights, I went to the room--key did not work. I had to go back down the hall, down the elevator after waiting for it. Then down to desk to wait for help recharging my room keys. The staff was great.

There was a mold on windows. The room was not really cleaned. mushy smell was coming from the room.

The staff was very helpful and didn't complain when I had to have help with my key three times. It was a very relaxed atmosphere.

Property is not as it should be like a holiday inn. Room was clean, but room smelled so bad of sweats may be from the previous user. Otherwise staff were very nice and overall property is ok for a quick stay.

Didn't like the front desk check in staff. She was insulting. Not friendly or respectful in her words.
