Bellevue Syrene

My family has never been better cared for by a hotel than we were by the Bellevue Syrene. This is, of course, expected at such a price point, but the warmth and friendliness of its staff, beauty and comfort of its accommodations, countless small amenities and exceptional spaces and views made our stay simply exceptional. Special recognition to BS's concierge, Antonino, was invaluable in helping me plan excursions that maximized our time on coast and focused on our particular interests. What a glorious place. We hope to visit again.

We first stayed here, at the recommendation of a local, in 2016 and - Covid excepted - we have visited every year since. It is truly an exceptional place and is our “home from home”

Everything we look for in a hotel is embodied in the Bellevue Syrene - unrivalled location, fabulous long-serving staff, exceptional property /accommodation, together with an understated but sophisticated and customer - centric experience.

We are almost reluctant to post this as we’d like to keep it as “our secret” - but it truly deserves every accolade and support. We have experienced many good stays elsewhere in the general area (eg Capri, Positano etc) but it is unmatched. The staff are key to our enjoyment. We hope to return for many years to come ….

We booked a deluxe room with a sea view and were not disappointed.
Upon arrival we were greeted at the gate and taken to the club lounge to enjoy a drink and check in.
After this we were taken to our room which did not disappoint. The room was beautiful, very spacious, clean and well decorated. Complementary mini bar in the room was also a nice addition.

The location of the hotel is brilliant close to both the marina and the port as well as bars and restaurants.

We also enjoyed the bar and restaurant within the hotel.

Overall a brilliant stay in lovely surroundings. Would recommend

My husband and I had stayed at the Bellevue Syrene about 5 years ago, and based on the staff and adventures we had, we gave our son's honeymoon stay there. They called us raving about it.
They were treated with kindness, professionalism and a truly magical, memorable and unforgettable stay. They said " it was the best experience they had in Italy". Bellevue Syrene is a truly magical place and I can't wait to return.

La struttura è un vero fiore all’occhiello, unica nel suo genere. L’hotel e tutto il contesto sono semplicemente meravigliosi: eleganza, bellezza e cura si percepiscono in ogni dettaglio.

L’accoglienza è qualcosa di altamente particolare, nel senso più raffinato del termine: un lusso autentico che però riesce anche a farti sentire a casa. Un luogo di nicchia, raro, dove l’ospitalità non è costruita ma naturale.

Si percepisce inoltre quanto molte delle persone che lavorano qui facciano parte della struttura da tantissimi anni: sono perfettamente inserite nell’anima del posto e contribuiscono a creare un’atmosfera unica, quasi sospesa. Sembra davvero di entrare in un tempo fuori dal tempo e dalle mode.

We stayed at the Bellevue Syrene in late April/early May 2026, and it was honestly one of the most magical hotel experiences we’ve ever had.

The setting is unbelievable — right above the water with breathtaking views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. Our room was spectacular, and every part of the hotel felt elegant, peaceful, and special.

What truly made the experience unforgettable was the hospitality. Claudio, Francesco, Antonino, and the entire team were so warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. The level of hospitality here is exceptional, but it never feels formal or forced — just genuinely caring.

From breakfast overlooking the bay to evening cocktails on the terrace, every moment felt memorable. We travel quite a bit, and there was just something uniquely magical about this hotel.

Leaving was difficult, and we’re already planning our return. Thank you to the entire Bellevue Syrene team for such an unforgettable stay.

We had an amazing stay. From the amazing check in experience from Francesco to the beautiful view from our room. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. One of our best hotel stays ever. Perfect location and the ruins under the hotel were very interesting.

This review is a year late. We stayed in May 2025 and it could not have been a better experience. The staff, the room, the location were all 5 star. So much, in fact, this is the hotel we will be staying at in September of 2026 when we return for an unexpected wedding. Our first action was to secure a room at the Bellevue Syrene. We cant wait to return "home".

During my stay at the Bellevue Syrene our room was beautiful, clean, and in an excellent location, and their amenities and decor were luxurious. The services are top notch here! The chef is very talented and creative! We had breakfast, lunch and dinner so we sampled his best talents. My daughter and I had spa treatments and both Anna and Pina were the BEST!!! The atmosphere was most relaxing and they have 'Healing Hands".
The staff was both very helpful, friendly and professional and made sure all our needs were taken care of.
If you really want an exceptional experience I suggest you stay at this beautiful hotel which has an excellent location in Sorrento.
I am already looking forward to my next stay.

We stopped in for a few drinks and meat and cheese platter at sunset. Away from the maddening crowds in a beautiful setting. Staff were wonderful, wines superb and food delicious. Such a great place to relax and enjoy.

One of our best hotel experiences ever. Fantastic in every way. A lovely upgrade to the Venere Suite, with a full size jacuzzi in room and picture postcard views of Vesuvio and the Bay of Naples. Staff were truly exceptional, especially Vanessa and Luigi who helped make our stay extra special. Service was unfailingly gracious and helpful without being overly formal. Staff were especially helpful with restaurant reservations and a gelato recommendation (Raki). We loved the live piano at breakfast and the breakfast itself was better than what was offered at our next stop, a much more famous hotel in Positano. We also enjoyed excellent massages in the spa. Cannot say enough good things about this hotel!

A grand dame in sorrento. Service is wonderful and rooms are big. Well located and close to great restaurants and shopping.

The locatiin, rooms and facilities are excellent, and the location is perfect.

A stunning location in an area with warm people, beautiful sweet spring strawberries and delicious citrus. Full service spa, pool, beach. This is truly not to be missed.

We didn’t stay or eat here but just had drinks on the terrace. What an absolutely astounding place. Great service, bit expensive as you would expect but not prohibitively so. It’s well worth finding to while away an hour or two
