Bringing my daughter to her new command. Stayed at this hotel and they were very accommodating. Also had a wait from check out time, and when I need to be at the airport. They let me hang out at the pool and relax before I had to leave. That is rare today, for places to be this accommodating. It was very nice.

I cannot say enough good things about the Home2 Suites by Hilton Jacksonville, NC. As someone who stays here regularly with our Marines during drill weekends, this hotel has become our go-to spot near Camp Lejeune—and for very good reason. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed, respected, and genuinely cared for.
The suites themselves are fantastic: spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you need for an extended stay. The full kitchenettes with dishes, utensils, fridge, and dishwasher make it so easy to prepare meals after long training days. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the workspaces are practical, and the indoor pool and 24-hour fitness center are perfect for unwinding or staying in shape. Free hot breakfast every morning is a huge bonus—always fresh and plentiful.
But what truly sets this property apart is the incredible staff, led by the remarkable Tydrea Russell, the manager. Tydrea goes above and beyond in every possible way to support us and our Marines. She anticipates our needs before we even ask, ensures everything runs smoothly during our drill periods, and treats every service member with the utmost respect and appreciation. Whether it's helping coordinate logistics, solving any issue with a smile, or just making sure we feel at home far from our families—Tydrea is always there, supporting us tirelessly and with genuine heart.
Her leadership shines through the entire team, who are friendly, professional, and quick to assist. In an industry where service can sometimes feel routine, Tydrea and her staff make it personal and memorable. They truly understand the sacrifices our Marines make and do everything possible to make our time in Jacksonville easier and more comfortable.
If you're military, traveling for business, or just looking for a reliable extended-stay hotel near Camp Lejeune, look no further. Home2 Suites Jacksonville isn't just a hotel—it's a sanctuary thanks to leaders like Tydrea Russell who make it feel like family.

I had a great stay from early February (2nd) through late March (24th) and was genuinely impressed with this hotel. Everything was exceptionally clean—from the rooms to the common areas—and it’s clear the property is very well maintained. I especially appreciated the housekeeping team I got to know during my stay: Dian, Donna, Bell, Paige, Jasmine, Diane, Sandra, Nileayllea, and Tatyana (apologies if I misspelled any names).

The breakfast was a highlight, offering a great variety of fresh, well-prepared options each morning—definitely a great way to start the day, so shoutout to the chefs.

What stood out the most was the staff. Everyone was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. I’d like to specifically recognize Brent, Paula, and the rest of the front desk team for making my stay even more enjoyable and always being courteous.

If you need to get work done, there’s plenty of space in the front lounge to do so.

Overall, this is a clean, well-kept hotel with excellent service—I’d definitely stay here again. 10/10!

Room was very nice and clean

I recently stayed at Home2 Suites by Hilton Jacksonville, NC and once again had a fantastic experience.

From the moment you walk into the lobby, you can tell this is a well-maintained and very clean hotel. There’s just that fresh, clean feel right away, which always sets the tone for a good stay.

The room itself was immaculate. Everything was in great working order, and you can tell they take pride in keeping their rooms in top condition. It’s comfortable, quiet, and just a great place to relax after a long day.

Breakfast was another highlight. It was plentiful, warm, and genuinely good. The coffee was hot and fresh, which is always appreciated in the morning.

The location is also a big plus. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, including a steakhouse right across the street that you can easily walk to. If you want more options, there are several other places just a short drive away, so you’re never far from a good meal.

I’ve stayed here before and will continue to come back. It’s a reliable, clean, and comfortable place to stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I have been staying at this hotel roughly once a month for the past couple of years. I find the service excellent. The hotel staff is always friendly and welcoming. Whenever I had an issue it was always resolved quickly. The rooms are always clean. I haven’t had a bad stay here yet.

The staff was amazing. Every single staff member I interacted with was friendly, helpful, happy. They remembered us and how long we were staying. Breakfast was hot, and there was variety. The food was good the pool was cold but it was in a warm room.

Pros:
- Cleanliness: from the lobby, to the hallway, to the immaculate room.
- Cozy: Nice lobby to hang out and work or relax. Roomy living room and sitting area.
- Kindness: All employees are kind and professional. Never felt rushed and very accommodating to every request.
Price: With everything going up in price, we felt like we got a great deal.
Location: Very close to everything. Lots of great places to eat and shop. Close to a number of beaches and very easy to get around.

Con’s:
- Only one. The showers took a little while to warm up, but while we are hear, they have worked on them and problems seem to be resolved.

Did not impact the overall stay or rating.

Overall: We had a great time here and plan to make it our primary stop when heading south. We will be returning this fall for sure!
