Aloft San Jose Hotel, Costa Rica

Excellent staff at this hotel made the difference and made me review 5 stars. Convenient location for my meetings.

Didn't need parking, Didn't use the gym

Excellent value and location. We only needed to stay one night and the location was perfect. The bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet. Luxurious shower with dryBar products that both mt husband and i loved using. Breakfast is a combo Continental and tico and everything was fresh and tasty. The Gallo was excellent. Every staff member was excellent and made us feel welcomed.

I liked everything about the manager at the front desk. The front desk was awesome helped us with everything we needed, but when I went to sit in the lounge bar area, I seem to be the last person they wanted to serve. They were serving the people that were sitting at the bar so I was a little disappointed about that bar service area.

The only thing I disliked was the bathroom, the water spilling from the shower to the other side of the bathroom,

Great place to stay

As a manager the hotel lack good management. Stained bed sheets. No shower gel or wash clothes in bathroom. Large dog in food area. 24 hour airport offered online but none available. Uber drivers stick around but don’t move to meet area unless higher prices are requested that would not be a problem if there was shuttle service as offered online. Front desk receptionist very friendly and breakfast was also good.

Room smelled like urine and the sheets appeared stained but the reception guy insisted they were just old. So I requested to me moved to another room, nicely changed our room but he didnt tell me the second room was for handicap folks with a plastic shower curtain. Been there maybe 12+ times

Excellent customer service, it was super nice to be in air conditioning after being in the jungle for two weeks.

This hotel and staff was phenomenal.. stay here you would not be disappointed.. it was great . Very convenient to everything .. the staff was super accommodating and always smiling.. food was excellent .. great hotel..

Great place

We had a lovely stay at this hotel! Although it has a minimalist style and is somewhat dated, everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations—plentiful, fresh, and delicious!

The best part of our stay was the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. A special shoutout to Melissa, Edgar, and Ryan at the front desk—they were always pleasant, professional, and made us feel welcome.

I would definitely recommend it for a comfortable and budget-friendly stay!

We had spent almost two weeks in low budget accomodations and booked this for our last night because we wanted a little luxury. I'm so glad we did because it delivered. With a game area for my kids, free laundry facility, pool, bar, and amazing breakfast. We were very pleased and it had a convenient location to the airport to boot. If we ever travel to Costa Rica again, we will stay here for sure.

Food and service amazing

Front desk and breakfast were great. The hotel is a bit run down. We had holes in the walls, an iron stain on the floor. Definitely in need of some repairs!

The guest services were excellent, the breakfast was enjoyable, and the hotel was conveniently located near several restaurants.
