Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Marietta

ALL the staff is extremely friendly. The hotel is super clean. My room was amazing in every way.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. We wanted rooms close together and they got us right beside each other.

We have stayed at this location twice and the staff is always friendly. The hotel is clean, nice breakfast buffet with friendly staff refreshing the food. The pool is open until 11pm.

We stayed here one night when we were riding the Valley Gem. This is you basic Fairfield Marriott, its on the older dated side, but it was clean and well kept. The best part was this was some of the best Marriott Staff I have ever encountered. The front desk clerk was 5 stars, friendly, polite and very helpful. Our room had a heating issue and he came up to our room and got it all fixed, replaced batteries etc. He went above and beyond for front desk staff.
The room itself is on the smaller side for a fairfield marriott and again clean but not overly modern. My only complaint is the doors in this hotel slam so while we were sleeping we kept hearing doors slam shut on our floor, might need some adjustments to not slam so hard and loud.
This Fairfield is located on the other side of I-77 away from town, however downtown is a short 5 minute drive and there was ample parking so it wasn't and issue staying on the otherwise of town for us.

We were here for just one night. We generally like the Fairfield chain, but we were a bit disappointed with this one given expectations based on the many other favorable reviews. This hotel appears to be an older Fairfield. It's located a 1/2 mile from I-77, so doesn't get any road noise. Downtown Marietta is a 5-10 minute drive away. We had a two-queen suite. None of our concerns were major, but the number of them influenced our rating.

We expected that the two suite rooms would be separated by a door, but the separation was just a partial wall partition (so light our sounds from the other room would not be conducive to privacy). For same reason, there are two small ceiling lights right above the head of the bed, and we didn't see any way to turn them off---annoying! One of the queen beds was so close on one side to the a/c units that it was hard to squeeze by. The room was 62 degrees when we first entered it--took a while to heat it up. There are two TV's, but both are fairly small. There was no night light in the bathroom. The shower floor was slippery---needs non=slip strips.

The above were not big issues for us, and like all Fairfield's we've been to, the stay was still good. The room did have a nice bathroom. Staff was friendly. Fitness room was fine. Breakfast OK. Indoor pool. Rating a 3.5. round up to 4.

Room smelled dirty, bathroom floor was sticky. Sofa in room was dirty and pull out bed was a joke; no kids going to sleep in that

Stayed here last year also. Checks all the boxes, you won’t be disappointed :)

This is my go to when I’m in town visiting family, it is clean and quiet and easy to get into and out of. Staff is always friendly.
