Pros:

Staff was exceptional they allowed me to put my motorbike inside, I am greatfull.

Cons:

I would have liked to have eaten there but there are a lot of places to eat around the area.

Uncomfortable, both physically and mentally (due to lack of security)
Pros:

Member of staff on duty early the next morning was very friendly.

Cons:

Overall, the hotel was very dated but clean. However, very noisy due to it being city centre on a Friday night, but as there was no air con or working fan available, the windows needed to be open so there was no respite from the noise. After finally falling asleep about 1am, I was woken but what can only be described as a loud siren going off directly in the room, it appeared to be from a device tear the door - not ideal.
But, my overall concern was one of safety, anyone could enter the lift and gain access to rooms as there was no key fob, only a key and inside the rooms, there was a flimsy latch that locked the door. I had to push the chair to be in front of the door to feel a little safer.

For the cost was a delight.

Cons:

As a young single woman, I was given a room with no lock. The concierge offered no apology or explanation when I came to request a change of rooms and I didn't feel comfortable challenging him.

Pleasant, good price and will stay again when visiting Cardiff.
Pros:

Pros:

Ideal central location; friendly staff; big room; functional bathroom.

Cons:

I stayed during a heatwave. The room had very large windows, 90% of which would not open. With no aircon, it meant the room was so hot that sleep was almost impossible. However, such conditions are a rarity in Merthyr (!) and most of the time this would not be a problem.

Our TV was only working 1 day after making a request but once it was switched off it lost signal again. Tap in the bathroom was loose

Great stay overall.
Pros:

Good hotel. Excellent location for the centre of Merthyr Tydfil. Hotel was clean and friendly staff. Very good cooked breakfast. Nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room too.

Cons:

Rooms could do with a little refurb.

25 mins by car to Brecon. A convenient stay as such but basic. Comfy beds but room was airless.
Cons:

Room was airless and had an odour. Damp windows- visible at the top of the beds.
