When we rang the bell to enter the building, the person who answered us, even though he understood we were foreigners, spoke very poor English and was neither friendly nor helpful. The room had old furniture, the wardrobe was damaged, the drawers were broken, and the table was dirty and sticky. The radiator in the bedroom had a broken temperature control valve, so we had to keep the window open because the temperature was unbearable. The bathroom radiator was broken and didn't work. Overall, the room was very shabby and unclean. The shared kitchen smelled terrible because the garbage bin was full and certainly hadn't been emptied in several days. The fridge had most of the packages opened (bread, jam, cheese, juice, etc.), and since I couldn't tell when they had been opened, I didn't think it was a good idea to use them. Overall, a very bad impression.
